10 Summer Trends Your Favorite Influencers Will Be Sporting in 2018

Warmer days are FINALLY upon us! Now that we can stop dreaming about sunshine and blue skies, the panic of updating our wardrobes is bound to sink in. Fear not, I’ve complied a list of 10 summer trends that will allow you to seamlessly transition into the new season.

1. Woven ANYTHING

Purses. Belts. Hats. Anything goes here people! Seriously, start digging into your mother’s closet –  I’m positive you’ll find something.

2. Cowboy Booties

I know what you are thinking… How did cowboy boots become trendy?! I honestly never thought I’d see the day. They now come in an assortment of styles and colors. Try pairing them with a summer dress and you’ll look put together in minutes. *Pro-tip: Look for a style that is cut at the ankle for a more effortless look.

3. Leopard Kinis

One pieces. triangle tops. Brazilian bottoms. Any kini style will do!  If you’re afraid of committing to a full leopard look, try mixing a solid-colored bottom with a printed top or vice versa!

4. Shells

I’m sure all of us owned at least one piece of shell jewelry back in 2000. Well, those of you who kept yours are in luck! Time to start digging them out of wherever you stored them.

An easy way to enhance any outfit. Just grab and go! Some range in color and texture, making more of a statement, while others are more classic.

8. Fruity Prints

The fruit obsession continues. It’s not just avocados and peaches that have our affection anymore. Lemons, cherries, oranges, watermelon… there is no discriminating. Fruits are in season for summer trends, literally (well as far as fashion’s concerned).

9. Lilac

Pastels are a spring essential and they transfer into summer beautifully. Do we have to discuss this any further? Nope, didn’t think so.

10. PVC Plastic

Remember those jellies that resurfaced a couple years back? Well take that idea, and kicked it up a notch! This trend gives you all the fun of a jelly ballet-flat with the added bonus of sophistication. A more mature way of using the unconventional fabric, while still looking put together.
