Summer is such a beautiful time of year! You can plan big holidays away, picnics at the park and BBQ’s at the beach to name just a few summer activities! But what about you and your sweetie? Now is the time of year that you want to be going out and having fun. The Netflix and chill season is over so get ready to go out and have a dream summer date night. And after this, you’ll be full of ideas about how to create that perfect summer date night so keep reading!
So if you are lucky enough to live near a beach then definitely take advantage! Beaches aren’t just for dog-walkers and children to build sandcastles. They can actually be a very romantic place for you and your honey to have a summer date night. Going along along in the early evening time means most people will be home by then so you will feel like you’re having a romantic, tropical getaway. Bring blankets and maybe a windbreaker if you want a little shelter.
And of course don’t forget food and drink! Why not some have some wine with some plastic glasses. And for food you could bring a tapas of food from home or bring a takeaway with you like a pizza. Nothing too messy or that will be difficult to clean up. Nothing will be more romantic than watching the sunset over the ocean wrapped in your loved one’s arms.
It’s not the kind of park you’re thinking of. After all, trying to have a romantic date surrounded by screaming kids laughing and playing isn’t exactly ideal. But you can go to an open park, perhaps one that’s sometimes used for sporting activities. Lay out a blanket and bring a basket of food with you.
A picnic at the park is a really cute way to spend the night with your love. Some nice food ideas are sandwiches, fruit, cupcakes, crackers and cheese, quiche and potato salad. Why not be extra fance and split a bottle of prosecco to give your evening a little extra romance.
This may seem like something only couples in romantic movies do but it is an actual possibility. Drive out into the country and lay out and watch the stars. If you have a pickup truck this is even better because you can lie out in the open while still being in the comfort of your car. Again bring a blanket just in case it gets chillier at night and lie out watching the stars. This is truly such a romantic date night because there’s just something inexplicably magical about watching the starry skies.
So obviously only do this one if you can actually ride a bike because we don’t want you to end your date with a trip to the hospital! But riding bikes together can make for a really cute date. Whether you cycle together on a tandem bicycle or you ride side by side separately, this is a great summer date night idea. The best thing about this is you’re not stuck in one place and you have so much freedom. You can go sight-seeing together, explore new areas and as a bonus you’ll both be getting some fresh air an exercise! This is especially good for those of you who are more active and like outside activities.
This is a really fun idea for a little competitive date night! It can be really fun to play on an outside golf-course but obviously an actual game of golf takes way too long and can be frustrating if you’re not much of a golf player! But mini-golf is silly and fun and can be a great way to bond with your boo. With this kind of course it doesn’t matter how good or bad you are. The whole point is just to relax and have fun! You can even make up your own fun rules along the way. And the winner can have a sexy treat when you get home, Little thing like this will spice up your average summer date night!
