Style Tips For Everyone This Summer

Style tips may come and go, but this article is tailored to everyone’s style and all of the trends. For this year, we have all of your favorite tips and style trends for pool days, beach nights, and bar crawls. Summer 2020 has no time for anything but fashion and style!

1. Mani-Pedi Combos

This may sound funny, or insignificant, but coordinating the colors of your manicure and pedicure actually matter. I actually have looked up on Pinterest which color combos are best for various seasons. I think peach and periwinkle are classic colors for summer, but that’s just me after what I have seen. Getting your nails painted to aesthetically match your toes, (or perfectly clash), is one style trend that I love for summer! Check out all of the nail polish colors and trends that you normally wouldn’t get.

2. Branch Out

No matter what your style, branching out your normal wardrobe is not a bad idea. This summer, when it comes to style tips, try purchasing something or wearing something that you may not normally wear. Maybe its a bright, fun, necklace, or maybe its Levis jean shorts. Switch it up, there are really no wrong answers in fashion. Well, sometimes.

3. Show Off Your Best Feature

Work it, girl. This tip encourages you to rock your spaghetti strap top, that mini skirt, body-con dress, or whatever you want. Show a little skin this summer, after all, it never hurt anyone!

4. Get Loose

When it comes to summer styles, one of the biggest trends that I have seen right now is loose pants and shorts. The boho vibe is in, so loose, floral pants are in, genie style pants with the slits down the side, and loose shorts are in. You can find these at online boutiques, or your local TJ Maxx or Marshall’s!

5. White

White is one of the biggest essential colors for the summer months. Why? Well for one reason, white goes with everything. White Converse, Vans, Adidas, and other popular sneaker brands are for sure in style, in white! Plus, everyone needs a good pair of white shoes, even in the summer.

6. Ray-Ban

Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t leave my house without my sunglasses. Even in the wintertime. This summer, invest in a pair of sunglasses that you know you are going to wear. For me, I actually got a pair of Ray-Bans for Christmas a few years ago, and I absolutely loved them until a wave knocked them off my head last summer while at the beach. The point is, sunglasses are dual-action, you look sexy, classy, and your eyes will stay protected!

7. Crop Top

I think this tip might be just personal style tips from me, but I adore crop tops, especially in the summer! It is already incredibly hot and sunny outside during the summer, why not take advantage, and throw on a crop top! I got mine a few summers ago, for $15.00 or so, and it says Calvin Klein across it.

8. Hoop Earrings

If you don’t own a pair of hoop earrings by now, it’s not too late to get them. I like to buy my earrings from Francesca’s, but you can also stop by H and M for the same type of style. Hoop earrings have made a come back in the recent years, but I’ll always think of the early 2000’s when I see them. Super trendy!

9. Bright Colors

In the summertime, one of the best style tips I can promote is wearing bright colors. Patterns like Aztec and floral are totally hot. I like to branch out in the summer and wear colors like yellow, red, blue, green, turquoise, and bright pinks. Leave the black and dark colors for the winter!

10. Denim Plus Belt

Style tips come in all sorts of ways, but one of the biggest trends I have seen is jeans with a belt. You don’t have to travel far to get this, just head to your local mall or even your sisters closet. Everyone has different tastes, and that is OK, but pairing a belt with some jean shorts is classic.

11. Layer Jewelry

One of my favorite summer looks is to layer bracelets and necklaces. You can do this even by purchasing a pack of bracelets, sold usually at American Eagle or Pacsun. This look is such a modern vibe and really trendy! This is a simple and fun way to accessorize in the summer.

12. Pink

The summer is a great time to wear pink, not just Wednesday’s. All different shades of pink are a big trend for this summer, from pink tank tops, to pink dresses, to pink lip gloss. Throw on a subtle pink shade on your lips for a moist pop.

13. Scrunchies

Everyone has different styles, and with that in mind, you’ll feel like its back in the 90’s. Scrunchies are back, and they totally serve as a dual purpose: both for pulling your hair back, and they look like a fun bracelet!

14. Floral

One summer pattern that is for sure here to stay, is floral. Flowers are almost a necessity in the summer months. Try a floral top or a floral dress for this summer and you won’t regret it!

15. Beach Waves

It’s summer, and having curly, wavy hair is in! This look can be achieved in a couple different ways. First, fall asleep with a messy bun on the top of your head, preferably with damp hair. Or, you can use a curling iron and or fall asleep with a braid! I think this hairstyle is perfect for summer, looking effortlessly beautiful, on and off the beach!

When it comes to style tips, everyone has different tastes. I hope this article gave you some inspiration to the fashion trends this 2020 summer season! What is your favorite fashion trend or style tip? Comment below! Thank you so much, everyone, for reading!
