Decorating isn’t always easy. There are so many patterns and accents and proportions to consider that we don’t always know how to design our space. Confusion aside, decorating can be the most fun. It is an opportunity to be yourself and create a space that feels like your own. There is plenty of inspiration out there and many, many different styles. Here are some amazing studio apartment decor ideas that we are loving.
If there is a space in your apartment that is too small to put any furniture, then try doing something a bit bold. Put a loud color or wallpaper with a fun print. Put a gallery of photos on top and a small vase to put a tiny bouquet of flowers in for studio apartment decor.

Find a corner of the apartment and make it your work station. Get a medium sized table and comfortable chair. Keep your calendar and your computer there to do your work and sort your important mail and bills.

If you don’t have too much space and need a way to organize your books, get a stackable book shelf. A shelf attached to the wall that makes it look like your books are floating, that way you can always see your favorite stories.

You don’t have to go to a prestigious gallery to find some art for your walls. Above your kitchen table or couch, put two complimentary abstract paintings. Take one or two colors from those paintings and match them with the throw pillows or a small vase to tie the room together with this studio apartment decor.

Throw some fluffy pieces into the mix to make your space a little cozier. Get a shag carpet or a faux fur pillow. Go for a clean white or go a little crazy with a pastel pink.

If you have limited counter space, get a hanging net to put your fruit it. It will make room for your pots and pans and organizing each fruit into separate categories will create a fun color palette.

Find a comfy and beautiful chair in a plum purple or soft grey. Make sure it’s comfy and surrounded with homey pieces like a throw rug and beautiful plants. It will make the perfect reading corner.

If your bathroom is the size of a shoebox, you may need to come up with some interesting ways to organize your things. A ladder shelf above the toilet should work and some fun pictures on the wall will add a little something to the room.
Instead of hanging your photos gallery style, put a long shelf on the wall just above the couch and arrange the photos in no particular order. It will look neat and kind of innovative.
Go to your local thrift stores and flea markets and find some rustic looking pieces that are a bit odd. Add it with your newer furniture and fix it up a bit. Throw some magazines on it, paint it or leave it as is.
Add some eclectic pictures around the kitchen able, when you have guests it will be a great conversation starter and it will give your space so much personality. Add a drawing of your favorite animal or an old-fashioned map of the city you live in.
If you don’t want simple neutral color, go for something a little bolder. Mix and match patterns and play with colors and textures. It will give the room an impressive artsy look.
If you like to have guests over for dinner parties, a bench is the best way to ensure everyone will have a seat. Put the bench against the wall so your guests aren’t forced to have perfect posture and add a few pillows for comfort.
Usually, a pop of color really brings the room together. Some people will opt for a royal blue or cherry red. But if your apartment has a calk gray and black, try adding gold to the mix. It will look incredibly polished and regal.
Instead of just having photos and paintings on the walls, find some unconventional pieces to add to the mix. Hand up some vintage signs, old masks, antique plates, anything that look like it has a story and adds life to your home.
