What better way to roll into Christmas day than celebrate with strong AF cocktails the night before? I’ve tried out a few fun cocktail recipes that will definitely get you and everyone else lit the night before Christmas.
Cherry vodka is blended with chocolate liqueur and Irish cream to make a creamy rich drink. It looks amazing and tastes like a chocolate covered cherry. You can garnish the drink with cherries on a toothpick to add color to the creamy white drink. This strong AF cocktail is one you should definitely make for Christmas Eve, and it’s gorgeous creamy color will be a hit.
Ingredients
2 ounces Cherry Vodka
½ ounce Baileys
½ ounces Chocolate Liqueur
Splash of cream
Chocolate Syrup
Several maraschino cherries
Instructions
Fill a shaker with ice and pour in the vodka, Baileys, the chocolate liqueur, and cream.
Shake well until chilled.
Optionally, drizzle a chilled martini glass with chocolate syrup.
Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.
Cranberry is one of the many flavors of the holiday season, and this martini blends cranberry juice with vodka and elderflower liqueur. You can garnish it with real cranberries and mint leaves to spice up the cute look. The cranberries add a freshness to the martini and enhance the drink.
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur
1 1/2 ounce cranberry juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Cranberries
Mint leaves
Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Pour in the vodka, elderberry liqueur, cranberry juice and simple syrup.
Shake until chilled.
Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish by tossing in a few cranberries and floating mint leaves on top.
This beautiful blue frosted drink will be a hit at all the parties and will be fitting if you have a white Christmas Eve. This tropical and Christmasy drink will make you feel like you’re in the tropics while having the aesthetic of Christmas.
Ingredients
Light corn syrup or honey for rimming glasses
Flaked coconut for rimming glasses
8 cups ice (more or less depending on desired consistency)
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup blue curacao
1/2 cup vodka or light rum (I used vodka)
1/2 cup cream of coconut
Instructions
Rim the glasses: Pour a thin layer of corn syrup onto a plate and dip the rims into the corn syrup, then dip in coconut flakes.
In a blender, blend ice, pineapple juice, blue curacao, vodka and cream of coconut until desired consistency is reached. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
The Grand Marnier combined with the cranberry and orange juice makes this a holiday drink. If you garnish it with cranberries or rosemary, it would be perfect for chilling with at a holiday party, and it will definitely give you that buzz you’re looking for with the tequila. Also, the white cranberry juice is so the color of the drink is clear and white, but if you want to add red to the drink you can definitely use red cranberry juice.

coarse salt for the rim
2 ounces Grand Marnier
1 1/2 ounces Tequila
2 ounces white cranberry juice
2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
lime for garnish
fresh cranberries for garnish
rosemary for garnish
SIMPLE SYRUP
½ cup water
½ cup sugar
Instructions
Rim each glass with a lime wedge and dip in the coarse salt. Fill each glass with ice.
In a cocktail shaker, add the grand marnier, tequila, cranberry juice, lime juice and syrup and shake for 30 to 60 seconds. pour over the ice. Garnish with extra limes and fresh cranberries! Throw in a sprig of rosemary if you wish.
SIMPLE SYRUP
Stir together the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until the sugar dissolves and bring the mixture to a simmer. Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
This punch will be a hit at your party, and will definitely relieve some of the holiday stress that comes with the season. This cocktail is perfect for a party during the holiday season or you can even make it just for yourself and someone else on Christmas Eve if you want. The gorgeous pink color with cranberries and cinnamon sticks and orange slices thrown in will spice up any holiday event.

750 ml champagne (1 bottle)
24 ounces ginger beer (2 bottles)
3 cups cranberry juice cocktail (or juice blend)
2 cups ruby red grapefruit juice
1 cup spiced rum, optional
Possible Garnishes: fresh cranberries, grapefruit slices, cinnamon sticks
Instructions
Chill all ingredients. When ready to serve, pour all ingredients into a punch bowl.
Garnish with cranberries, grapefruit slices, and cinnamon sticks.
You read that right, jingle juice. A big punch bowl of this for a holiday party (or you can lower the amount of each ingredient for serving one of two people) will make the event festive real quick. The citrus flavors, juice and booze can never go wrong and if you garnish it with cranberries and cinnamon, it’ll add a festive feeling to the drink.

Citrus Sugar:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 teaspoon grapefruit zest
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Punch:
3/4 cup Citrus Sugar
1 cup lime juice
1 cup lemon juice
2 cups orange juice
1 cup grapefruit juice
1 cup mango nectar
1 cup pineapple juice
3 3/4 cups Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
2 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
1 1/2 cups Amaretto
3 cups sparkling water
orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit slices, frozen cranberries for garnish
Instructions
Make the citrus sugar by combining the sugar, zests, ginger and cinnamon. Rub the zest between your fingers to release the oils. Let sit at room temperature for 4 hours or up to a a few days in an airtight container.
Peel the skins off of the fruit and juice.
Make the punch by adding the sugar to the bottom on the punch bowl. Pour in the juice and stir to start to dissolve the sugar. Pour in the alcohol.
Remember the ice ring we made? Dip the bottom of the container in some water for about 10 seconds. The ice should pop right out.
Garnish with frozen cranberries and fruit slices. Give it a taste, just to make sure that it tastes okay and is balanced. Or to just because you want to.
