Spending a lot of money for your favorite cult Starbucks drink? Well, believe it or not you can make most of your favorite drinks at home. In no particular order, here’s 8 Starbucks drinks you can make at home!
Now this one is my personal favorite, the vanilla sweet cream cold brew. When I mean favorite, I mean I drink at least one of these everyday. You can make this one in a variety of ways with all kinds of different ingredients. The easiest way I’ve found to make this is with Starbuck’s cold brew coffee, that you can buy at any grocery store, half and half, a vanilla syrup, and of course ice. Now you can make it as sweet, or not, as you’d like. To make it sweeter, simply add more pumps of your vanilla syrup. This Starbucks drink is great year round, especially if your an iced coffee connoisseur. Make it at home, and you’ve just created an unlimited supply of your favorite coffee! This recipe is more a trial and error sort of situation. No exact measurements, just make to taste!
This next Starbuck’s cult favorite is an iced caramel macchiato. All you need for this one is 2 shots of espresso, vanilla syrup, caramel syrup, and milk. Now think of it this way, this coffee can easily be made hot too if you’d prefer, just use hot espresso instead of iced. You’re going to want to put everything besides the caramel sauce in the cup, and mix until blended. Add whipped cream, if desired, and caramel sauce to taste! Boom, you made yourself the classic Starbuck’s iced caramel macchiato at home! This Starbucks drink can be made both hot or iced, and if you’re a caramel lover, this one’s for you. Taking a break from the coffee drinks for the moment, we have the viral Starbucks pink drink! The pink drink is a little more complicated than the previous coffee drinks you can make at home because it requires more ingredients. To make this one you’ll need blackberries, freeze dried strawberries, fresh strawberries, coconut milk, sugar, white grape juice, green coffee bean powder and ice. The blend of these ingredients makes for the perfect pink drink at home! You can find the exact measurements and original recipe here by Beauty and the Beets.
Following along the no coffee trend, this next Starbucks cult favorite is the passion tea lemonade. This drink is the perfect combination of lemonade and tea to quench your thirst in the hot summer heat. For this drink you’ll need Tazo passion tea bags, water, lemonade, sugar, and vanilla. This drink is a go to when you want Starbucks but aren’t necessarily feeling coffee. The tea provides you with caffeine, while the lemonade provides you with the sweetness. Starbucks really hit this one out of the park, creating the perfect alternative to caffeine on a hot day. For the full recipe by Frugal Coupon Living, click here!
Back to the coffee grind, we have the Starbucks iced vanilla latte. This Starbucks drink is perfect for all my coffee lovers out there and it’s super easy to make. It requires very minimal ingredients and chances are if you tried one of the coffee drinks above, you already have them! All you need is strong room temperature or cold coffee, vanilla syrup and your choice of milk. The combination fo these 3 is a deadly trio and with different measurements can create a variety of drinks! This Starbucks drink is the perfect drink to practice your barista skills before trying one of the more difficult combinations! You can find this recipe by Mom Makes Dinner here.
Okay, so I know I’m not the only one obsessed with the Starbucks mocha frappuccino, so I’ve done the hard work and found the recipe for you at home! This is the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate and can definitely be altered to even add chocolate chips to the mix! For this Starbucks cult favorite you’ll need espresso, your choice of milk, ice, sugar, chocolate syrup, and chocolate chips and whipped cream (optional). Add them all together and blend to creamy perfection, and you’ve made your favorite Starbucks drink at home. This is definitely one of my favorites to grab at Starbucks and why continue to buy it if you can make it when ever you want at home! This recipe and ingredient measurements can be found here, by Eugenie Kitchen.
This might be the healthiest Starbucks drink on the list, up next we have the iced, or blended, matcha latte. This is perfect if you want a source of caffeine with out all the added sugar. Matcha provides a unique taste but it’s definitely cooled to perfection. For this Starbucks drink at home, you’ll need matcha powder, vanilla syrup, ice, and your milk of choice. Either stir or blend, both provide the perfect cool drink for a warm day. This recipe by Gimme Delicious can be found here.
Last but certainly not least, we have the strawberry açaí refresher. This is most definitely on the top 5 of Starbucks cult favorites and what better than being able to make it at home whenever you want! Some of the ingredients are a little tricky to find, but definitely worth the hunt. For this Starbucks drink you’ll need freeze dried strawberries, sugar, white grape juice, green coffee bean powder, açaí powder, water, and ice.
