Staple Sandals Everyone Needs This Season
Although we are only mid-way through summer, I can guarantee that you are still shopping all of your worries away. With all of the warm weather, comes many indoor and outdoor events that you will want to show off your new clothing items, especially those new staple sandals. I don’t know about you, but I love shoes and I am pretty sure I will be wearing them to the moment I die. What I have learned by many seasons of shopping for staple sandals, is that it’s important to know what occasions you’re shopping for. Do you need a pair for a wedding? Comfortable walking sandals for the city? Sandals for when you’re doing chores around the house? Whatever your summer plans are, I have here some of the best staple sandals that you will want to wear all summer long.
BIRKENSTOCK – the Arizona. Price: $110.00
I love my Birkenstocks and so should you. Why? They’re built to last and the three pairs that I have (yes, three) have lasted me about three years so far. What I just learned about this staple sandel is that the style of the footbed was built to mold your foot’s shape, that way over time it becomes more and more comfortable. These sandals are made in Germany with a birkibuc which is a durable, synthetic material that has a nubuck leather texture with soft backing. They also have a lightweight EVA sole that is like a cushion for your foot and the materials help avoid extreme heat.
The Addie Sandal in Colorblock from Madewell. Price: $99.00
Next up, we have the Addie Sandal. This staple sandal is made out of oiled vachetta leather and they have a suede-lined molded footbed with a flexible sawtooth sole. What I love about these sandals is that they are sourced from Do Well. It’s leather sourced from a tannery which achieved a Gold Star rating from the Leather Working Group (LWG). This organization works to promote sustainable environmental practices in the leather industry. How cool! Reviews for this sandal are that they’re super comfortable and that there is a lot of cushion if you’re walking for a long period time. They also don’t make your feet sweaty either and the straps over the top of the foot are perfect–not too loose and not too tight.

I love Amazon and I hope you do too. Amazon almost always has the best deals when it comes to all things clothes especially staple sandals. Let’s face it, everything nowadays is extremely, extremely expensive so if you have to purchase some cute sandals off from Amazon, who cares! One of the reasons why I love these sandals is because they come in a variety of colors– Camouflage, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Olive, Black Multi, Navy, Tan (more like an orange) and a few more other colors. They have a synthetic rubber sole with a platform that measures approximately 1.75 inches and the heels is approximately 2 inches. There are leather straps for comfort and the overall feel for this shoe is chic modern.
Teva Women’s Original Universal Comfortable Quick-Drying Casual Sport Sandal from Amazon. Price: $54.95
I love comfortable sandals and if this shoe isn’t it, then I truly have no idea what is. These sandals have a rubber sole with a universal strapping system with adjustable hook and loop closure straps that provide a customized fit. There is also a foam cushion footbed that adds to the comfort of the shoe along with fabric strap lining. What I love about this brand (Teva) is that it was founded in the early 198os by a Colorado River Guide and after looking at the style of the shoe, along with the many different color variations that you can choose from, it makes sense why this shoe is such a hit for anyone who loves the outdoors. They’re comfortable and plus, you can wear them with absolutely anything.

If you love Birkenstocks as much as me, then you are bound to love this pair as well. These lightweight, waterproof shoes has adjustable straps with a buckle closure, a contoured footbed with arch support that absorbs shock and mimics the shape of a healthy foot. They have a synthetic supper, lining and sole and overall, the shoe is meant to exercise your foot and leg muscles all while providing the most amount of comfort possible. Not only will you be getting exercise while in these shoes, but you’ll be comfortable as ever, too!
SB-Mari Champagne Rhinestone Ankle Strap Sandals from Lulus. Price: $109.00
If you want a pair of sandals for a wedding, then you better purchase this pair from Lulus. If you have read any of my articles, then you have probably learned that Lulus is my favorite online store brand. They have affordable clothes from blouses and dresses, to pants and all things shoes. This pair in particular comes in either Champagne or Gold. It has a rising to a mid-low block heel that supports a sturdy heel cup with a thin ankle strap. There is a cushioned insole with a felted rubber sole that has nonskid markings as well! From the reviews that I have read, these sandals are perfect for weddings, are extremely comfortable and are beautiful, too.

Lastly, we have these staple sandals from Amazon. What I love about these sandals is that they come in a variety of colors–gold, black, brown, green and white. They are also made of high quality artificial leather, are eco-friendly and are comfortable. With a sturdy rubber sole, they are anti-skid and wear-resistant. They also have a soft footbed that is made with flexible EVA foam that is perfect for your feet. Since these are more of a casual sandal, you can pair these with a simple outfit like t-shirt and jeans or even a cute skirt.
