Spring Recipes To Try In 2021

If you are like me then you love to eat and love to try new recipes every chance you get. Since Spring is coming up, the freshness of the fruits and vegetables is easily craved. The recipes I will be suggesting are some of my favorite and I do tend to make them only in the Spring when it is cool.

Here they are:

1) Tik Tok Sandwich

Have you heard about the new Tik Tok sandwich that is completely destroying the internet? If not, don’t worry, I got you!!! Literally one of the most perfect Spring recipes! This is a life-saver, especially for all the busy peeps who do not have time to cook.

All you need is bread, cheese, eggs, and some ham. Start off by beating the eggs and add in chili powder or any other seasoning that you like. Next, place the bread in a pan about 1 inch apart, then add the beaten eggs into the pan. When the egg looks cooked flip the bread, fold the eggs in and add all the other ingredients.

This is super fast, super easy, and super minimal. ALL my students and full-time workers, or anyone crabbing a sandwich, then this one is for you!

2) Spring Rolls

Vietnamese SPRING ROLLSSSS! YAYY! One of the best Spring recipes. Do you know why these are perfect for the spring? These spring rolls are a refreshing shift from the usual fried ones we see in restaurants. They really are a family favorite among everyone. They are great as a cool springtime appetizer and deliciously dipped in sauces to top it all off. It takes about 30 minutes to make and serves around 8 people.

You need some shrimp, vermicelli, rice wrappers, large cooked shrimp, mint leaves, cilantro, and some lettuce. Start off by boiling some water then adding the rice vermicelli in for 3-5 minutes until al dente.

Next mix the sauces, condiments, and water. Lay the wrapper flat and place the shrimp, a handful of vermicelli, basil, mint, and etude and then rightly ruck and roll the wrapper, beginning at the end with the lettuce.

Don’t forget the hoisin sauce with peanuts. Dip the spring roll in the sauce, take a bite, and indulge in the beauty of this recipe.

3) Fruit Salad

Fruits salads are the perfect dish for a backyard barbecue or any spring occasion. I can guarantee that there will not be any leftovers! This may seem like a given but remember that all fruits do not mix together perfectly. This one is one of my favorite fruit salad recipes and one of my favorite spring recipes!

I like to keep it in the fridge before serving to maintain the freshness and deliciousness of this amazing recipe. ENJOY!

You will need orange juice, vanilla extract, pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, bananas, oranges, grapes, and blueberries.

Start off by adding organ juice, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to boil in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until it thickens slightly and then removes it and set it aside to cool.

Next, layer all the beautiful fruits in a bowl, either mixed or aligned and then pour the sauce over the fruit and place the concoction in the refrigerator.

4) Ramen Noodles

Now, this one right here makes me hungry while writing it! It is cheap, simple, and makes a basic recipe turn into a 5-star meal.

All you need is ramen, spicy sauce, sesame seeds, some veggies, and some sugar.

Number #1— start off by boiling water and then placing the ramen noodles in the saucepan (without the packaged sauce).

While the ramen noodles are boiling, start making the yummy sauce. In a small bowl, mix some oil, sesame seeds, sugar, chills powder, hot sauce, and cilantro, mix until it’s not clumpy.

Next, remove the ramen, drain them and place them in a pan to fry. Then add the veggies and the sauce so you can fry them all together.

This is a simple way to make really tasty noodles and for the low price of a dollar.

5) Mango Sticky Rice

This is one of my favorite Spring recipes for a refreshing yet really healthy and unique, exotic meal.

Thailand is one of the Asian countries where people consume rice. The lives of the Thais have been closely bound to rice, and it also has a cultural significance. Sticky Rice with mango is a traditional Thai dessert. It is prepared with glutinous rice, egg custard, and coconut milk. It is served warm or either at room temperature and was influenced by Portuguese cuisine.

Sometimes, it is also served with fermented pork or skinless sausage. It is also essential for Thais since it goes hand-in-hand with the mango sticky rice.

6) Lazy Cake

The lazy cake is also essential for the Spring! It is perfect for this temperature because it is light on the stomach but is also a delicious chocolate treat.

It is filled with biscuits on the inside so it is the perfect mixture between a cold snack and a refreshing biscuit- the best of both worlds.

Spoon the mixture onto a piece of aluminum foil. With a spatula or spoon, shape the mixture into a loaf. Wrap it in the aluminum foil and place it in the freezer for a while. Unwrap the loaf and cut it into pieces. Then comes the easiest bit of all – gobbling up the slices before they melt! If there’s anything left, Lazy Cake will stay good in the freezer for a very, very long time.

Spring is coming and these special Spring recipes will have you more excited than ever. From entré to the recipe, these will have you drooling and wanting more. I hope and encourage you to try these simple and unique recipes and share the outcome! I love these recipes and am happy to have shared them with people who love them as much.

Sheloma Isac

Hi everyone! My name is Sheloma - a name my father made up. “She” because I was a girl and the rest inspired by the meaning of peace in Jewish (Shalom). According to ancestry.com, I am Greek, French, Italian, Romanian, and Asian but conforming to my education and the way I was brought up, I am 100 percent Romanian. I am 18 years old, born in March, and definitely a Pisces. My birthday is on the day we celebrate women internationally. I was born in Singapore, moved to France after one year, then to Qatar where I attended a British school. Which is why I say “petrol” instead of “gas” and “mum” instead of “mom”. After that, we moved to France where I studied at an International School, needless to say, that these were some of the best years of my life. I now live and go to school in Houston. Though I have an ENTJ personality, the “chief” personality I feel like an introvert. I like learning about religions and honoring all the gods as well as myself and the universe. Yoga is my higher power and my spirituality. I am a fitness/health enthusiast. I love training and working out in many different ways. Lifting weights is my favorite but I also enjoy, running, boxing and swimming. Traveling is my oxygen and if you know me, you know I’m not exaggerating. I love going to places and merging the cultures with my own, interacting with people, and the environment.
