Spring Hairstyles You Have To Try In 2020

Finding new hairstyles can be intimidating, let alone finding one that suits the new season. With so many options out there, finding the perfect hairstyle is a job in itself. I feel your pain! I switch my hair like clothes and it does not always go as planned or be an easy journey! I will say, be excited! Do not let the process bum you out because creating change can be a fun process. Here is a list of hairstyles to try in the spring season and get you feeling and looking your best!

1. Bobs

This hairstyle is a sophisticated yet chic design that allows you to look put together with less work. This is one of my go-to styles. It is so easy to maintain and you can literally shake your hair and go. With spring approaching, the weather makes a change and depending on where you live, the sun can start beaming. The bob hairstyle is perfect for hot weather. It can be cut A-symmetrical or be cut in a blunt style (even on all sides). Who doesn’t like a hairstyle they get up and go in?

2. Afro

Hair that defies gravity is something magical, right? Well with an afro it does just that! This hairstyle was prominent back in the 70s with disco culture surrounding the African-American community. It really just requires a pick or comb of your choice and plucking it out. Have a grease or pomade of your choice to add some shine and keep those strands lustrous. This hairstyle is perfect for spring with its low maintenance and high popularity.

3. Curls

Curls, curls, curls! I think it’s fair to say we all love some curls! You can anywhere from have big curls like waves to micro curls like Shirley Temple. Curls can be semi-permanent by using a perm or they can be temporary lasting a few days using heating tools or flexirods. The perm method does have chemicals, but it lasts months at a time. Either way, curls are a springtime statement!

4. Box Braids

Box braids are such a fun hairstyle to have! They are easy to maintain and there are other hairstyles within this hairstyle you can do! For example, you can do a bun or a French braid. This hairstyle is perfect for someone who wants to just get up and go. Box braids can range from large to micro braids, both of which are individual braids all over the head. This hairstyle protects your real hair while giving your scalp air. In the hot weather these are a Godsend!

5. Blunt Cut

This hairstyle has become so popular and I can see why! It’s cute and it also can be done on any length of hair. Blunt cuts are haircuts that are even all the way around. The best one for spring is the shoulder-length cut because it goes perfectly with beach waves. It gives that effortless beach hair look without having to actually go to the beach. You can make beach waves in your hair at home!

6. Pixie Cut

Do you remember Alice from the Twilight series? Her pixie cut hairstyle was on point! Pixie cuts are so effortless and very chic. In the spring, having loads of hair can be time-consuming as well as hot! A pixie cut is the way to go if you want a low maintenance but very impressive look. This cut also goes good with a pop of color. You can add highlights and if you’re feeling bold do a full color change. A pixie cut is a sure way to get heads turning.

7. French Braids

French braid hairstyles have some of the most creative designs around. There are braided ponytails, straight backs, side swoops, and many more. Out of all the hairstyles, this is a good option for spring because of its intricate and fun designs. These hairstyles are very good if you do have an active life like sports, exercising and other physical activity. Not having to worry about styling my hair constantly is a bonus! Try this hairstyle and have fun with the designs.

8. Front Bangs

Hairstyles like front bangs have been around since the dawn of time. They make such a statement no matter the length of the hair. In spring, bangs will be an excellent choice if you don’t want to do a big chop or change your length. However, it will make a dramatic change without having to do too much. Front bangs with shoulder-length hair is a great combination as well as bob length hair. You can pull your hair into a bun or pony and look instantly put together. Front bangs are also a good way to look more youthful and flirty without appearing too adolescent and childish.

Weather changes always bring about thoughts on changing hairstyles. From long tresses to short pixie cuts, they all give us a feeling of a new start. Adding some color in the summer makes us pop while long tresses in the winter give us extra warmth. In spring, it’s in between the cold and hot and these hairstyles are sure to give a definite statement and transitional option.
