If you are a big Harry Potter nerd then this is one of the spots in Toronto that you need to check out. It has so many cool merchandise you can get and is so beautifully decorated that you’ll feel like you stepped into a store in Hogsmeade. Look on top of the shelves and you’ll see self-stirring pots. It also had merchandise for some other cool things like Alice In Wonderland and Edgar Allen Poe. Curiosa is located at 1273 Queen Street West.
This is one of the spots in Toronto that are perfect for dates or friendly hangouts. They have a huge selection of board games to choose from that you and your friends could play forever and not get bored. Play a simple game of Life or get the most materials in Catan. You are also able to purchase food and beverages so you can keep the fuel going for some intense board gaming. There is a small fee to pay for unlimited board games. They call this place a sports bar, but for geeks. It’s not decorated to too many specific fandoms but there are definitely some visually appealing nerdy things such as a stained glass window of alien. It’s a whole old looking building with each room in it a different theme. Not only are the rooms super cool but this is one of the spots in Toronto that sell some unique drinks. If you like Dungeons and Dragons then roll a D20 and get a shot depending on what you landed on. Or if you like witches and wizards, try drinking out of a cauldron. This is probably one of the most nostalgic spots in Toronto because it’s an arcade for adults. Going to arcades were fun but now that you’re a young adult you can have a little more fun by adding alcohol. There are classic arcade games, bar games such as pool, and even a Star Wars hyper-immersive game. You can visit them downtown the Toronto Roundhouse: 255 Bremner Blvd.
For those video game lovers, this is one of the sports in Toronto you have to go to with your friends. Right now they don’t have too many games to choose from but the selection they have will still satisfy you and your friends’ friendly competition gaming needs. For those nerdy collectors, this is one of the places in Toronto that will provide you with some good things to add to your collection. Mostly a record shop, you are sure to find records of some of your favorite things like a Rick and Morty record or a Mickey shaped Disney vinyl. They also sell some other things like t-shirts and quirky items. This sweet shop is located at 215 Spadina Ave
