Songs That Will Motivate You To Work Out

Working Out is never easy, but it is always worth it. Start feeling great and look great this year by hitting that gym hard every day! Need a little inspiration? These songs will put a pep in your step before each workout.

1. Mother’s Daughter- Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus’ female anthem, Mother’s Daughter, is all about embracing your body as a female. If her feminist lyrics don’t put you in the mood to push, then maybe seeing her in red latex will.

2. Paper Rings- Taylor Swift

Paper Rings by Taylor Swift is a love song about how she doesn’t need a diamond ring if she has her lover. The song is romantic, but it is also upbeat and super fast-paced. Perfect for cardio first thing in the morning.

3. Really Don’t Care- Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd

Another great song for cardio is “Really Don’t Care” by Cher Lloyd and Demi Lovato. This song celebrates the LGBTQ community and celebrating who you are! It is the perfect way to get your spirit and your heart rate up.

4. Look At Her Now- Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is back and her new song “Look At Her Now” is what we’ve all been waiting for. It’s a song for anyone who has ever had a broken heart. The song is also for anyone who wants a good bump to listen to at the gym. It works on both levels.

5. Don’t Call Me Angel- Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Ray

Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Ray have all come together to make the perfect song for any workout. Their three different voices come together to make one perfect song.

6. Boyfriend- Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande’s “Boyfriend” is great, but it is a bit of a slower song. I recommend it for stretching or cool down purposes.

8. Diva- Beyonce

Of course, I had to add Beyonce to this list. A diva is a female version of a hustler, so start hustling at the gym. Find your inner diva and work her hard. Do it for Beyonce.

9. Hair- LIttle Mix

Little Mix wants you to get your ex out of your hair. One way to do that, sweat it out. Get on that elliptical and start sweating it all out. If you can get over him, you can get over that hill.

10. Confident- Demi Lovato

The most important thing you can be in the gym is confident. Own what you’re doing, just like Demi Lovato. Shake what your mother gave you and work it all out.

I know, another Ariana Grande song. What can I say, the girl writes good songs for cardio. Thank you, next, will remind you of your ex’s and how much better you are without them. That should give you plenty of inspiration to work out.

12. Shout Out To My Ex- Little Mix

Thank you Little Mix, for blessing us with this song. Not only will this song help you get over a breakup, it’ll also help you break a sweet sweat.

13. The Man- Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is the man, in my opinion. She is everyone’s daddy and we all need to start taking notes. Take this feminist roar with you to the gym and hit those weights hard. You’ve got this.

18. Swish, Swish- Katy Perry

This song is for all my musical theatre nerds out there. Even if you’re not into musicals, you will still be able to find the work out motivation in this song. Anna Kendrick isn’t just a singer from Pitch Perfect. Her rendition of I Can Do Better Than That from The Last Five Years will get you dancing. The song is five minutes long and filled with life’s greatest lessons. Listen in and you’ll forget you’re even working out.
