Some Of The Best Yet Underrated Starbucks Drinks You Have To Try

Who doesn’t love the fresh coffee smell when walking into your favorite Starbs store?! I know I do! Starbucks is def the place to get your usual caramel macchiato in the morning but it can get a bit boring and routine getting the same drink over and over again! Get a little adventurous and try some of the best, yet underrated Starbucks drinks next time you get that caffeine crave!

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

I’m not gonna lie, I am a major Starbucks white girl and I JUST tried the cinnamon dolce latte; a drink that has been on the menu forever! I feel like a lot of people avoid this drink in fear of it being too sweet or too cinnamon-y. What I highly recommend is that you ask your barista to cut the syrup pumps by half to be on the safe side (which is exactly what I did my first time) and I guarantee you will LOVE this drink. It has just the right amount of sweetness but a strong kick of cinnamon for those spice lovers.

Cold Brews

I get that the cold brews totally had their fame a few years ago when they came out, but they are by far some of the best Starbucks drinks of all time. Cold brew is delicious by itself (and this is coming from a girl who hates black coffee), or with a splash of sweet cream. My personal all time favorite though is the salted cream cold brew. Made with sweet cream, the cold foam on top just sinks into the coffee and every sip is a perfect mix of sweet and slightly salty.

Gingerbread Latte

Unfortunately this Starbucks drink is only available during the holidays but it is absolutely to die for! This drink will make you feel all cozy and warm with every sip tasting like gingerbread cookies. It is made with their special gingerbread syrup and topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. Sounds pretty sweet but it is actually pretty subtle! The sweetness is just the perfect amount and not too overpowering so for those white chocolate mocha lovers this drink may be a bit underrated!

Dirty Chai

A sort of secret menu type of Starbucks drink, a dirty chai is basically a normal chai latte with a shot or two of espresso for that extra kick/taste of coffee! The chai latte can be super sweet for some people so this addition of coffee balances this drink out very nicely! You will definitely feel the buzz after drinking this dirty chai but also enjoy the contrasting sweet and strong tastes of chai and coffee together!

London Fog

A SUPER underrated Starbucks drink, the London Fog is low key one of the most delicious drinks on the menu. It is simply earl grey tea and steamed milk with some vanilla syrup added for sweetness. Great alternative for those who don’t like coffee but also need the caffeine buzz. It is perfect for a rainy, London-like, studying in the library kind of day. This tea will make you feel super posh and sophisticated like the English, sipping on creamy perfection and bergamot aroma.

Double Shot On Ice

For those who want a smooth espresso taste, the double shot is the Starbucks drink for you! Literally just like it sounds, it is two shots of espresso shaken with ice and classic syrup, topped with a splash of creamy milk (or half and half). The taste is so smooth and rich, you will want to come back for more! It is a great way of going cheaper at Starbucks yet stronger with flavor and it has just as much caffeine as a typical latte!

Cordusio

I encountered this very underrated Starbucks drink when a lovely Italian man was ordering it at my favorite Starbucks. The infamous cordusio. This drink will make you feel like you’re walking the streets of Milan! An Italian delicacy, this drink is made with an extra shot of espresso, streamed whole milk, mocha, and topped with  cocoa powder! It is like melted dark chocolate in your mouth! IDK why many people don’t know about this drink but you need to try it on your next visit!

There are so many delicious yet underrated Starbucks drinks that coffee connoisseurs need to try! What are some of your favorite, underrated Starbucks drinks?
