10 Snacks You Can Make In Your Dorm Room

When you are living in a dorm room it can be challenging to make delicious snacks, with your limited resources. That is why we made a list of 10 snacks you can make in your dorm room!

1. Mug Brownie

If you are feeling a sweet tooth at a late study sesh it can be hard to make something in a college dorm. A mug brownie is simple to make and now is sold in grocery stores. They are uber delicious and chocolatey.

2. Bagel Sandwich

Yummy bagel sandwiches are one of the best types of dorm snacks. You can microwave an egg and sausage or put some capers with cream cheese. Toasting the bagel just a little bit can make it feel like a fancy-er snack, but really add anything that you want to put on the sandwich and you are done.

3. Quesadilla

Grab some cheese, tortilla and either a panini press or microwave. These are super adorable and easy to make. If you need a quick snack these are going to be tasty and easily shared with friends if you bring people over.

4. Pretzel Chocolate Drops

This is a little tricky but if you want a cute treat to bring to a study group, but only have a dorm room to make it, check out this recipe. Take a waffle pretzel, a Hersey kiss and stick it in the microwave long enough for the chocolate to get melty but not drip. Take it out of the microwave and immediately out an M&M on top.

After that is done you will have a super tasty little snack that is sooo addicting.

5. Peanut Butter and Banana

Peanut butter and banana are the best for a healthy snack. The banana has fiber which keeps you full longer and the peanut butter has healthy fats to stimulate brain growth. Try these out if you do not love them already.

6. Avo-Toast

Nothing screams delicious and easy like avo toast. Take an avocado, open it and then smash up the insides. Use a toaster to make the toast lightly brown and put it together. Adding Cayne or garlic to the avocado can update the taste to the next level.

7. Popcorn

IF you are not making popcorn as a snack yet you should. It is delicious and basically the easiest warm snack in human existence. Throw it in the microwave, hit the popcorn button and then you’re done. Just make sure you don’t forget a timer if there is not one built-in. Nothing smells worse than burnt popcorn!

8. Salmon Cucumbers

These cute little guys are fancy and fresh. Put a little thin slice of salmon on a thinly sliced cucumber. It is good for your body and makes people think you can cook. If you hate salmon, put some prosciutto on instead, which is also delicious!
