10 Snacks At Trader Joe’s You Have To Try

Trader Joe’s is one of the most successful grocery store chains in the country for many reasons. It has fairly inexpensive prices, which makes it perfect for college students and lower income families. Additionally, Trader Joe’s is known for its own brand of food, which it carries more than any other brand in its stores. Trader Joe’s is also known for its unique set of snacks available in stores. These unique products keep people coming back and have become staples in customer’s pantries. If you’re unfamiliar with Trader Joe’s products, here are 10 of the most popular snacks that you have to try on your next grocery store trip.

Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

If you’re a Reese’s peanut butter fan, you have to give these a try. These peanut butter cups are a bit smaller, but also include a dark chocolate which is much more firm than the milk chocolate that you typically find in Reese’s, which adds a bit more of a crunch. These peanut butter cups are the perfect small snack if you need a little bit of a sweet tooth fix.

Belgian Butter Waffle Cookies

These Trader Joe’s cookies are to die for. They are reminiscent of stroopwafels, the traditional Dutch caramel waffle cookie. They are flakey yet crunchy at the same time and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. You can enjoy them on their own, or you can use them as a cheesecake crust, a crumble for the top of desserts, or as a topping for your ice cream. These delicious cookies are very multifaceted and you can certainly get creative with how you use them.

Dried Mango Slices

These are a staple in numerous customer’s pantries. These delicious dried fruits are chewy but also have a lot of the actual fruit in each bite. Trader Joe’s does not add any additional sweeteners or flavors to the outside of their traditional dried mango slices, but the grocery store offers spiced mango slices and a few other variations of the traditional slices. If you want a delicious way to get some more fruit into your diet, these dried mango slices are a great product to try.

Blue Cheese Roasted Pecan Dip

If you’re a fan of blue cheese, you’ll absolutely love this dip. It’s very creamy and smooth, with a snap of gorgonzola and great texture from the pecans. The pecans help offset the strong blue cheese flavor a little bit, but you can still certainly taste it. This is an excellent dip to bring to any social event or get together and pairs well with any simple chips, crackers or vegetables. You can also dip your chicken wings in this dip to add a unique flavor to your typical blue cheese dipping sauce.

Milk Chocolate Smashing S’mores

These Trader Joe’s snacks take a delicious take on the traditional s’more. This reconstructed snack takes the graham cracker and marshmallow and covers it in chocolate. You can enjoy this snack as is for more of a candy style snack, or you could pop it in the microwave to enjoy it a bit more as a traditional s’more. You can also add it to a stick and roast it over a fire for that fire roasted flavor that makes a s’more so good.

Thai Chili Lime Almonds

If you’re looking to add a little kick in your snack game, this Trader Joe’s product is an excellent addition to your pantry. These almonds are the perfect balance of spice and citrus with the addition of dried kaffir lime leaves to help season the almond. These are very versatile and you can eat these on their own, or you can add these spicy, citrus-heavy almonds to a salad or bowl to add a bit of heat.

Mini Cheese Sandwich Crackers

These small sandwich crackers are so good, that you can sit and eat the entire box. While most brands who make these cheesy sandwich crackers create a cheese filling that tastes a bit artificial, you do not get that with these crackers. Trader Joe’s also sells these crackers with a peanut butter filling, which are just as delicious and addictive. Overall, these crackers are very simple but they make a great snack for everyone.

Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips

These delicious chips from Trader Joe’s are the grocery store’s version of Doritos. They pack an impactful flavor without adding in all of that excess powder and seasoning that you normally see on Doritos that gets all over your fingers. These chips are amazing on their own, but you can also dip them in sour cream, guacamole, queso, or salsa to add a bit of additional flavor to your snack. These make an excellent party snack and you should definitely look into getting them on your next trip to the grocery store.

Spinach and Kale Greek Yogurt Dip

If you’re looking for a dip to bring to your next get together with friends or need a dip for your pita chips or tortilla chips, this Trader Joe’s product is a must try. This dip is made with Greek yogurt instead of sour cream or mayonnaise, making it a healthy alternative to typical spinach dips. This dip also adds a bit more protein to your snacking session, which can overall improve your health and diet. This is certainly an excellent dip to keep in your fridge.

Ghost Pepper Potato Chips

If you want potato chips with a bit of a kick, these Trader Joe’s chips should be in your shopping cart on your next grocery store run. These chips can be incredibly addicting, and will make you sweat a little bit as you get through the bag. These chips are incredibly good with a more of a cooling dip, such as a yogurt or sour cream based dip.

Trader Joe’s offers some very unique snacks compared to other food brands and grocery stores across the country. If you want to try something new on your next trip to Trader Joe’s, there will always be a new option for you to try.
