10 Smoothies That Will Cool You Off This Summer

Summertime is officially back and hotter than ever! The sun may be heating things up, but don’t let the rising temperatures ruin your plans, instead you can beat the heat with these 10 smoothies.

1. Strawberries & Cream

Ingredients:

-1lb of strawberries

-1 cup of frozen peaches

-1/4 cup of vanilla frozen yogurt

-1/4 cup of milk

-2 teaspoons of honey

In a blender, combine all of the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is two.

2. Tangy Mango

For all of the love mango lovers out there, this one is for you

Ingredients:

-1 medium ripe mango, cubed

-3/4 cup of buttermilk

-4 ice cubes

-1 teaspoon of honey

-1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

-A dash of cinnamon (optional)

In a blender, combine all of the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is one.

3. Piña Colada

This smoothie is perfect for relaxing by the pool

Ingredients:

-1 1/2 cups of frozen pineapple

-1 ripe banana, cut up

-1 can of coconut water

-1 container of vanilla yogurt

-1/2 cup of ice cubes

In a blender, combine all of the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is four.

4. Mocha Blast

This smoothie is a must have for those lazy summer days.

Ingredients:

-1 ripe banana, cut up

-1 cup of ice cubes

-1/2 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt

-1/4 cup of cold-brewed coffee

-1 teaspoon of almond butter

-2 teaspoons of cocoa

-1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

In a blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is one.

5. Berry Batido

Ingredients:

-1 cup of frozen strawberries

-1 cup of frozen blueberries

-1 cup of raspberries

-1 ripe banana, cut up

-1 tablespoon of walnuts, chopped up

In a blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is one.

6. Fruity Green

Get your daily dose of greens in this smoothie.

Ingredients:

-2 cups of water

-1/2 cup of baby spinach

-2 stalks of celery, chopped

-1 Bartlett pear, cut up

-1 green apple, cut up

-1 ripe banana, cut up

-2 slices of ripe mango

-1/4 cup of diced pineapple

-1/4 cup of sliced cucumber

-2 teaspoons of honey

In a blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is two.

This smoothie goes great with breakfast.

Ingredients:

-1 navel orange, frozen and peeled

-1 cup of vanilla yogurt

-1 cup of ice cubes

-1/2 cup of orange juice

-2 teaspoons of honey

1. Cut the navel orange into slices, then put the slices in a container and freeze until the slices are frozen.

2. In a blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is two.

8. Tropical Peach

This smoothie is just peachy and will satisfy your taste buds.

Ingredients:

-1lb of peaches, sliced and peeled

-1 cup frozen mango

-1/2 cup of apple juice

-1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt

9. Creamy Kiwi

Ingredients:

-2 kiwifruit, quartered and peeled

-2/3 cup of vanilla frozen yogurt

-2/3 cup of chilled sparkling water or club soda

-2 teaspoons of honey

In a blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is two.

10. Pomegranate Berry

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup of refrigerated pomegranate juice

-1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt

-1 cup of frozen mixed berries

In a blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth. Serving size is one.
