10 Simple Makeup Looks When You’re Just Not Feeling It

Somedays you’re not in the mood to get too done-up. Which is why these ten simple makeup looks for when you’re just not feeling it are lifesavers! Let’s face it, we’re young adults. We have classes, jobs, and hectic social lives. Some mornings, when you wake up, it’s hard enough to drag yourself out of bed. Usually, you end up laying in bed so long that you only have 15 minutes to get yourself together. That’s why we decided to pull together looks so easy they’ll fit in a 15 minute (or less) period!

1. Your Brows Are Everything

This first simple makeup look is so easy it only takes a few minutes. This look embraces natural dewiness, power brows, and a simple eye. You can achieve this look by dusting your favorite metallic eyeshadow across your eyelids and applying a touch of mascara. Once the eyes are finished, just cover any blemishes, do a simple contour and add your highlighter. And as the last step, you can fill in your brows.

2. Embrace Your Natural Side

This second simple makeup look is all about embracing the natural look. It’s all about the natural eye and glow. You can achieve this look by dusting a matte neutral eyeshadow across your lids and applying your favorite mascara. After completing your eyes apply your foundation and cover all blemishes. Once your face is perfect, you can dust a light highlight and fill in your brows as natural as possible.

3. Pop of Color

This third simple makeup look is about a little pop of color. This look embraces a simple eye and a bold lip. You start by dusting a natural matte light brown and darker brown eyeshadow across the lids. Once your lids are dusted, use the same eyeshadows and add a bit of color to your under-eye. Then, do your everyday face makeup and fill in your brows. The final step is lining your lips and filling them in with your favorite lipstick – possibly a bold color!

4. All About The Eyes

This fourth simple makeup look is all about the eyes. To start, you will dust your eyes with a light shimmering neutral eyeshadow. Then, in the outer corners and the crease of the eye, you will apply a darker shimmering shadow. Once your eyeshadow is complete, line your eyes with your favorite black liner, and apply a bit of mascara. After the eyes, you’ll do your everyday skin makeup, but remember to add contour and highlighter. Also, never forget to fill your brows!

5. Simple But Effective

This easy makeup look is as simple as one, two, three. You start by applying a matte brown shadow on your eyelids and you’ll also use this shadow on your under-eye. Of course, after your shadow, you’ll add mascara and do your daily face makeup. To top off this look, you’ll fill in your brows and complete your makeup with a shiny pink gloss.

6. Get The Natural Look

This sixth simple makeup look is about embracing your natural side. You start by applying neutral-color eyeshadow so that it doesn’t stand out too much. You’ll then lightly line your eyes and waterline with your favorite liner and apply mascara. To top it off you’ll cover your blemishes and fill in your eyebrows.

7. Metallic With A Side of Glow

This seventh simple makeup look is easy to recreate. You start by applying a light metallic eyeshadow on your lids and then dust the crease of your eye with a darker neutral tone. To finish the eyes, you’ll apply eyeliner and use your favorite mascara. After your eyes, you’ll do your face makeup and use some highlighter to create a natural glow.

8. It’s Time To Shine

This simple makeup look is all about the glow. It doesn’t take much to create this look. You start by lining the bottom of your eyes with your highlighter and by applying mascara – make sure it looks as natural as possible! Then, use your regular face makeup and fill in your brows. Now, it’s time to start contouring and highlighting. Contour your cheekbones, then add highlight to your cheeks, chin, nose and under your eyebrows.

9. Find Your Natural Glow

Like number eight, this is a look that’s all about the glow. Except, you focus more on the eyes. To start, you apply a natural matte eyeshadow to your eye and the crease. Once the shadow is on, you lightly line the eye and apply mascara. After the eyes, do your daily face makeup routine and fill your brows. Once that is done, add a light blush to the cheeks and top it off with some highlighter on the cheeks and nose.

10. Add a Pop

The tenth and final look is again about a pop of color. To create this look, you apply a metallic copper based eyeshadow to your eyelids and apply your mascara. No eyeliner is needed for this look. Then apply foundation, concealer, and fill in your brows. Top it off with a red lipstick like this one, and you’re done! It’s all about simplicity.
