1. You put avocado on and in EVERYTHING.
Bagels, toast, sandwiches… ice cream? The more, the merrier!
2. You’d rather cut your left pinkie toe off than waste water.
15 minute shower? Kill me! Think of the drought!
3. You’re already planning your next trip to Disneyland.
From Dole whip to the familiar smell of Pirates of the Caribbean, Disneyland is undoubtedly the most magical place on Earth. And you’re quick to point out that it is superior to Disney World in every. single. way.
4. You pretty much have your own language.
Sometimes, you can’t even tell if you’re making sense.
“Dude! I hear theres a dope bonfire tonight, wanna cruise before it gets rolled bro?”
5. In the summer, you either wear Birkenstocks or Rainbows.
Which one’s better? That’s the debate of the decade.
6. COACHELLA.
You spend months planning and organizing outfits, rides, campgrounds, and your perfect #squad for the 3 craziest days days of your year in a California desert. And you always make sure to stop by your favorite coconut water stand!
7. You aren’t fazed by earthquakes.
After hiding under your desk during countless earthquake drills in elementary school, you’re basically ready for the apocalypse. And when an earthquake does strike, you know you shouldn’t be as excited as you really are.
8. Only the highest fashion for us Westerners.
Even though you go to Brandy Melville, PacSun, and Quicksilver, you could always go for a good thrift shop.
9. You try all the new trends.
A 2-Week juice cleanse? Apple-cider vinegar? Homemade Kombucha? You’ve tried them all.
10. You couldn’t imagine any other lifestyle.
What can you say? The Western lifestyle is the only one for you!
Can you think of any more signs you’re definitely living the Western lifestyle?
