20 Signs You Went To St. Joe

If you recognize the phrase “Serving the dear neighbor without distinction” or “Not I, But We,” then this list was made for you! For all you values-driven women leaders out there, these are 20 signs you went to St. Joe.

1. You miss the simplicity of a daily uniform.

2. You know last year was the 175th anniversary.

3. The words Netclassroom, Blackboard, and Naviance make your heart pound a little faster.

Sometimes it’s better to just not look at your grades for a few months…right?

4. Sports

Wait…every high school doesn’t have hallways lined with trophies?

5. When the gym turns into a runway on Junior Ring Day.

The amount of Lily Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines dresses was almost as overwhelming as the amount of wedges.

6. “Is the auction office open?” (thanks for all the candy and puppies)

Just check to see if it’s unlocked when you walk by.

7. Yellow shirts mean something holy to you.

8 You have experienced the best mass music in St. Louis thanks to Advanced Chorus and the Frontenac Voices.

9. You’ve spent an excessive amount of time on an outdoor stage.

The pie eating contest, graduation, everyday lunch, and even a few classes on good weather days were held here.

10. You know who David Kowalczyk is (and probably have a few selfies with him).

“Have a great day and a pleasant tomorrow!”

11. Spirit Club dances and pep rallies were always HYPE.

The white masks, hoodies, and blacklight made all the difference.

12. You had the time of your life with your girls at Father Daughter every year.

No better date than dad.

13. 75% of your time at St. Joe was spent in t-shirts and sweatpants.

St. Joe t-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, you name it, we got it.

14. You get annoyed when people say St. Joe’s

…especially when they make fun of how defensive you get.
