10 Signs You Go To College In Colorado
SKKOOOO BUFFSS!! There are obvious signs that you go to Colorado University Boulder. From the insane parties to the ever-changing weather and beautiful scenery we are all lucky enough to experience, here are 10 signs you go to college in Colorado!
1. Where’s “The Hill”?
Fellow Buffs know that “The Hill” is where all food is at, and parties are ragin’. Newcomers or first years think that it is a grassy hill where people kick back.
2. Let’s Rent a House!
Housing is limited in Boulder. You need at least a year and a half to get some sort of housing for that following year.
3. Want Cookies At Midnight?!
Two words. Insomnia Cookies. Insomnia Cookies is open until 3:00 am, so if you are craving cookies at 2:36 in the morning, you can get some.
4. It’s about to get lit!
Boulder is known for its wild parties! Even dead parties look something like this:
5. Let’s Go in the Buff!
At CU’s rec center, CU has a buff shape pool– which is open during spring months and the beginning of the fall semester. Going to the pool is the perfect study break!
6. Pre-gaming Is A Sport
For pre-gaming, we go hard. Pre-gaming can start as early as 9 a.m.
7. Driving on Campus During Game Day
Old and current students attend ALL games. So rethink if you are going anywhere around Boulder or on campus.
8. But Yesterday It Was 26 And Snowing, And Today it’s 45. What the Heck?
Weather, here, is the most unpredictable thing. You can’t plan a few days ahead.
9. Take A Hike
We are lucky to have trails all over Boulder. If you wanted, you could take a hike in the Flat Irons right before class. Taking advantage of the beautiful scenery those of who go to college in Colorado are able to do!
10. Nap in Norlin
Great for naps, Norlin has spaces that can be used for sleeping. Students love it!
