Let’s face it. If you’re a “theater person”, you’re definitely not shy about it. And why should you be? There’s more to being a theater person than just the costumes and showtunes. There is the singing and dancing, and then there’s the countless hours of rehearsing and memorizing, the practicing all night until you get it right, the amazing friendships you make, the silly memories you create and the stories you’ll have to tell forever. And finally, the feeling of putting on a show that those watching will never forget. If you can relate to this, these are 20 signs you are a theater person.
1) Hearing a word or phrase that automatically makes you burst into a show tune.
2) Overdosing on Throat Coat.
3) Using the “I don’t do sports” gig to make up for your lack of physical activity.
4) When you’re sad that you just finished performing your last show but remember you have strike in a week.
5) All hell breaks loose during tech week.
6) Auditions: A place where all your friends are not your friends anymore for a couple of hours.
