So you’ve been dating this guy for a while and you really like him. You’re having a hard time figuring out if this guy is the one! He checks off all your boxes, he makes you super happy, and you actually really like him. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out if he’s the one when you don’t even know if he feels the same way. There are a few signs that are a great tell-all if a guy likes you and that will tell you if he is the one.
1. He Asks Questions
Starting off with one of the signs that are great to tell if he’s the one is if he asks questions. Specifically, if he asks all the right questions. This just means he is asking questions because he wants to learn more about you. It’s always a great sign when he develops an interest in you and who you are. Some important questions he asks you are things like when is your birthday or what’s your favorite holiday. It is always a really good sign when he is asking questions for the future. Why else would he want to know your birthday? Because he wants to remember it for when it comes up!
2. He Keeps Up Conversation
Sometimes one of the really bad signs when talking to a guy is that he just doesn’t seem interested in the conversation. This can be daunting when you are trying to build a connection with him. So one of the really good signs a guy is the one is that he always wants to talk to you! He goes out of his way to speak to you and conversation never feels dull or forced. Especially with the current pandemic, it’s very difficult to actually meet new people and even harder to date when you shouldn’t really be going out. That aside, let’s say you’ve been talking to a guy or you met a new guy you really like and all you can do is talk on the phone. One of the really good signs a guy is the one is when he asks for video calls with you. I know it’s a super simple request but can mean a lot coming from a guy. This means he wants to see and hear you. He wants to speak to you in real-time and truly get to know you based on your emotions and facial expressions.
5. He Tries Your Interests
Is there anything cuter than dating a guy and telling him all of your favorite things and then he goes out of his way to try them? For example, if you told him about your favorite meal at a fast food place and he’s never had it then the next day he tells you that he tried it and liked it, that’s a really good sign! This means as he’s learning about you he really wants to understand your interests and why you like what you like.
6. He Tells His Family About You
Now, this can vary between people because it’s possible some people just aren’t close to their family which is totally okay. The definition of family is different for everyone, it’s whoever you love and hold close and that’s all that matters. Now if a guy is already talking to his family about you that is a big deal. Those are people who have known him his whole life, therefore they are important to him. If he’s sharing you with them then that means you are important to him now too. You’ve got a keeper in his guy if he is ready to talk about you to his family and maybe even want you to meet them then he’s for sure the one.
7. He Shares His Interest With You
Just as he wants to learn all about you he wants you to learn about him which of one of the bigger signs he’s very into you and could possibly be the one. He is starting to share all his loves, wants, and needs with you because you’ve now become an important person in his life. My advice here is to follow through with what he likes. Surprise him with his favorite snacks or watch his favorite movie and talk to him about it. Relationships are a team effort therefore he deserves to be treated just as sweetly as he should be treating you.
8. He Wants You To Meet His Friends
This is one of the signs that is a really great one. You know that your friends are some of the most special and important people in your life. This goes for the guy too. If he is ready and wants you to meet his closest friends then he is for sure the one. These are the people he considers to be very important in his life and now he wants you to be included with them. If he knows you’re having a bad day and he buys you your comfort food or if you had something good happen to you and he congratulates you with your favorite drink or snacks then he is the one. It’s always the little things that add up and this is just a small way that he is telling you he cares about you and wants you to feel noticed and appreciated.

After all this time talking to him you start to lose those butterfly feelings that come with a new relationship. Not with this guy. Every now and then he will do something that will give you those butterfly feelings again and that’s how you know he’s the one.
