10 Shows On Disney+ Everyone Will Love

There are so many streaming platforms out there, but my favorite right now is Disney+. I grew up surrounded by Disney, which is probably why I like Disney+ so much, but there’s a lot of cool shows on the app. They keep coming out with new shows, too, so you’ll never get bored. Disney also owns National Geographic, so you have all of those shows you can watch, too.

Now that we decided which streaming platform to use, what do you watch? Disney has so many shows on there that it could take a while to figure out what to watch. Here are some of the most popular shows on Disney+, that everyone loves to watch.

1. The Mandalorian

If you love Star Wars, this is a show you have to watch. This series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order. The Mandalorian is a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. There is also a character that looks like a Baby Yoda, even though he is not, and everyone absolutely loves him. This is also a good series for anyone, even if you don’t like Star Wars. You don’t need to know much about the Star Wars movies in order to understand what’s happening in The Mandalorian.

2. The Imagineering Story

This is a six part documentary that explains how Disney Imagineering works. They talk about creating twelve theme parks and all of the rides that go along with them. It also talks about creating ideas for new movies and everything else that happened in the sixty-seven years of Imagineering. This is a good show for anyone who loves the history of Disney and would love to learn more. This is also a good series for someone to watch if they want to be an Imagineer at some point. You learn so much from watching this short docu-series.

3. Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers

Chip and Dale become Magnum P.I. and Indiana Jones in this series. They go on weekly adventures in this cartoon series. It’s intended for a younger audience, but really anyone can watch it. It’s a funny series that has charming qualities. It is not a classic in the sense that it’s a show every other show is based off of it, but it is really good at what it does. Chip is the more responsible chipmunk and Dale is the more fun-loving chipmunk. Both of them work really well together to make a series that is really amazing and good for the younger kids to watch.

4. Encore!

This is a good show for anyone who loves theater and loved their high school play or musical. Kristen Bell joins her former high school classmates to put on an encore production of their high school musical. This is funny to watch, and you can relive your high school performance while watching this short Disney series. Everyone will love this series because it combines theater with everyday scenarios. You will never be bored while watching a group of adults trying to put on their high school play. This is a good show for everyone to watch.

5. Forky Asks a Question

This is a series of ten short episodes, featuring Forky, a school project made from trash. He asks questions about life that he wouldn’t know the answers to. Each episode explores the answer to the question he asks at the beginning. This is a good series for anyone who loved the Toy Story series, as most of the characters are involved in the shorts. This is leaning more toward the younger kids, but everyone can watch it and love it. Forky asks a lot of good questions that a lot of little kids would have, so it would be good for them to watch.

6. Muppets Now

The Muppets are really popular characters in Disney, so this series is perfect for anyone who loves the Muppets or has never heard of them. Scooter has to rush to make the delivery deadlines and upload the series for streaming. The deadline has come and now he has to face a lot of problems the Muppets throw at him. Everyone will love this series. The Muppets have had several reboots, but this is the best version so far. It is loved by a lot of people, and everyone else should watch it now. It’s really good and you’ll love it.

7. The World According to Jeff Goldblum

Jeff Goldblum looks into the science behind everyday objects, like sneakers and ice cream. He unravels the history and science, making you rethink everything you thought you knew about that object. It’s a funny show with a lot of guest stars that make the show a great watch. There are a lot of big ideas and surprising insights that you honestly wouldn’t have thought about. This is a really good series that involves most subjects from school, without making it obvious that you’re learning something. It will be worth watching it.

8. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

This is an amazing show for anyone who really likes The Avengers to watch. Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes join forces to stop the activities of the Flag-Smashers, an anti-patriotism terrorist group. The two of them travel around the world to make sure they put an end to the bad guys, just like Steve Rogers would do, if he were helping them. This is a must-see for anyone who has watched, and liked all of The Avengers movies. This was hyped up for the longest while, and it was definitely worth listening to all the hype.

9. Secrets of the Whales

This is a National Geographic show that takes us into the world of the whales. We learn that whales are much more complex than we thought, and a lot more human-like than we originally could have imagined. We follow orcas, humpbacks, belugas, narwhals, and sperm whales, in this series that took three years and twenty-four different locations to film. Learning about marine animals is always a good thing, considering we’re killing them all the time, but this show is definitely worth a watch. Whales are the coolest marine animals.

10. Big Shot

This is a sports series about an NCAA men’s basketball coach who has to coach an all girls high school team. He learns how to be a good coach, while the girls learn to take themselves more seriously. This series has John Stamos as the basketball coach, so anyone who liked him in Full House is going to like him in this series, too. This show is really good for a lot of different reasons. Sports series are always good to watch, especially if they are about relatable things. High school girls learning how to play a sport with a new coach is definitely relatable.

These are some of the most popular shows on Disney+. If I missed one of your favorites, please feel free to leave them down below. I could always use more shows to watch.
