10 Shake Recipes That You Need To Try

Milkshakes were a popular treat back in the day and they still are, just watch Riverdale. The 2003 anthem, “Milkshake” by Kelis, practically left everyone craving a milkshake. Have I convinced you enough? If so, here are ten milkshake recipes that will shake up your summer.

1. Blueberry Pie Shake

Did you say pie? Yes, please!

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-2 cups of vanilla yogurt

-6-oz. of blueberries

-2 sheets of graham crackers. mashed

In a blender, combine the following ingredients and blend until mixture is smooth.

2. Peanut-Butter Shake

This is heaven in the form of a shake.

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-1 pint of chocolate ice cream

-2 frozen bananas, chopped

-1/4 cup chocolate milk

-1/2 cup of peanut butter

In a blender, combine the following ingredients and blend until mixture is smooth.

3. Lemon Meringue

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-1 cup of lemon sorbet

-1 cup of vanilla frozen yogurt

-1/4 cup milk

-2 tablespoons lemon curd, jarred

In a blender, combine the following ingredients and blend until mixture is smooth.

4. Cookies & Cream

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-1 cup of chocolate wafer cookies

-1/4 cup of milk

-1 pint of vanilla ice cream

First, soak the wafer cookies in the milk, until soft. In a blender, combine the milk and cookies with the vanilla ice cream and blend until mixture is smooth.

5. Ginger Spice Shake

A little taste of fall in summer.

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-1 pint of vanilla ice cream

-1/4 cup of milk

-1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

-pinch of salt

-1/3 cup of ginger cookie spread

In a blender, combine the following ingredients and blend until the mixture is smooth.

6. Banana-Nut Shake

If you’re a fan of banana bread, then you have to try this!

Ingredients:

-1 banana

-1 pint of butter pecan ice cream

-1/2 cup of pecans

-2 tablespoons of milk

-1/4 teaspoon of vanilla

In a blender, combine the following ingredients and blend until mixture is smooth.

7. Snickers

Serving size: 4

Ingredients:

-15 fun sized snickers bars, chopped

-2 cups of vanilla ice cream

-1/3 cup of milk

-1/4 cup chocolate sauce or syrup

-2 tablespoons of caramel sauce

-1 cup of whipped cream

In a blender, combine the snickers bars, ice cream, milk, chocolate sauce, and caramel sauce. Blend the mixture until smooth. Pour the shake into multiple glasses, and top with whipped cream. Add a drizzle of caramel and/or chocolate if desired.

8. Tiramisu Shake

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-6 ladyfinger cookies

-1/2 cup of coffee, warm

-1 cup of coffee ice cream

-1 cup of vanilla frozen yogurt

-1 tablespoon of milk

-1 tablespoon of condensed milk

First, soak the ladyfingers in the coffee; blend and pour into two glasses. Next, in the blender, combine the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Lastly, pour the mixture over the blended coffee and lady fingers.

9. S’mores

Camp out by the fire with some s’mores.

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

-8 marshmallows

-1 pint of chocolate ice cream

-1/4 cup of milk

-1 teaspoon of vanilla

-pinch of salt

First, broil the 8 marshmallows, until browned. In a blender, combine the rest of the ingredients, excluding two marshmallows. Once the mixture is smooth, pour the shake into two glasses and place the two remaining marshmallows on top.

10. Chocolate Blend Shake

You can’t go wrong with this classic shake.

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

-1 pint of chocolate ice cream

-1/4 cup of cream

-3 teaspoons of chocolate syrup

In a blender, combine the following ingredients and blend until mixture is smooth.
