1. Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway

After Elvis and Priscilla Presley got married, they headed to California to enjoy their honeymoon in the desert hideaway town of Palm Springs! This home has been remodeled as a memorabilia museum in honor of Elvis! The home is a cool spot to go to check out priceless items once belonging to the King of Rock n Roll!

2. Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens are the area’s only zoo and wildlife park. The garden part of the zoo features wildlife from the Sonoran, Mojave, Colorado and Chihuahuan deserts.

3. Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

If you want to escape the heat of the desert, make the small truck up to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. First opened in 1963, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is known for being the largest rotating aerial tramway in the world! A car wash? Before you start to raise your eyebrows, check out the “elephant in the room”– pun fully intended. The main attraction surrounding this car wash is its giant neon pink elephant sign that stands out from miles away. At night the pink of the lights fade and the lights turn on, showering the sign in hues of bright green, blue and red. This spot is a must see in Palm Springs because it showcases the perfect example of the amazing originality in the vibe and feel of the area.

8. Palm Springs Art Museum

Built in 1953, the Palm Springs Art Museum is a regional, natural science, and performing arts museum inside the heart of Palm Springs. It’s architecture mimics the mid century modern architecture the rest of the city is designed in. The Annenberg Theatre is also a part of the museum and houses 437 guests altogether. The artwork of notable artists like Leon Gaspard, Thomas Hill, and Carl Rungius are all features inside the museum. The eclectic mix of architecture is the perfect spot for anybody trying to achieve the perfect instagram post!
