10 Reasons It’s Okay To Fall In Love Quickly
Falling in love by itself is already a scary experience. Sometimes when you fall in love it makes the relationship complicated and you get worried if it’s too soon. That is always a big concern when falling in love. If you think you’re falling in love too fast that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a bad thing. There are a lot of reasons why falling in love quickly is totally okay and why you shouldn’t feel worried or scared.
1. Can’t Control How You Feel
When it comes to falling in love there is absolutely no way to control how you feel. When you are in love there is nothing that can stop you from falling. Love is something so unexplainable and when you meet that special person and you fall in love there’s just no way to control that.
2. They Make You Feel Safe
Something so important when it comes to falling in love is that this person you love makes you feel completely safe. Everything about them exudes an aura of safety and love. If you find someone that you think you are in love with and they make you feel completely and totally safe then it is okay to fall in love fast. It’s just another sign to tell you that this person is the one and that you should be falling in love with them. One of the best feelings in the world is feeling totally safe with your significant other.
3. There’s No Such Thing As Too Fast
Who says what the exact speed is at falling in love? Love isn’t an exact science, it’s a pure and raw human emotion that honestly has a mind of its own. You can’t help who or when you fall in love but when you do there’s no stopping it. So when you’re dating someone and it’s gotten serious and feel as though you’re falling too fast then pay more attention to how the other person truly makes you feel.
4. Love At First Sight
This is a rare occurrence but a really special one if it happens. When it’s love at first sight it’s really special because it’s an instant feeling of love. Love is a strong word to throw around so this can be harder to wrap your head around. It doesn’t necessarily have to be full of love. If you see someone for the first time and feel an instant sensation of love then you start dating and falling in love seems easier and quicker than that just means it’s real.
5. Timing
You have to also consider the timing. At what point in your life are you dating and you can determine what’s going on that allows you to fall in love. Some people just don’t feel ready and falling in love is harder for them. Others are at a point in their life where they are able to allow love into their lives which makes it easier. You also have to consider how often you see your significant other. If you see them every single day then that gives you more time to fall in love with them faster. If you don’t see them that often then it’ll be harder or take longer to fall in love.
6. Don’t Ignore The Undeniable
If you have strong feelings for someone no matter how long the relationship has been you should follow your heart. If the love is there and there’s no denying how much you love them then why stop it? Love can be scary because it’s a powerful emotion that can honestly change your life but a lot of the time love is totally worth it. Don’t even worry about falling in love too quickly because if it’s true and it’s there then just let your feelings take over.
7. If The Loves Authentic, Trust It
You’re falling in love and you’re worried about falling too quickly. Another one of your worries might be that you are also scared that your significant other doesn’t feel the same way. There are a lot of ways to tell if your significant other is in love with you. You have to see how they are around you. If they love being around you, spend all their time speaking to you, and show lots of ways that they adore you then they are probably in love with you too. If they aren’t in love with you then they at least care about you enough to not be upset about you being in love. If you are able to tell if they are in love with you or not then trust the feelings. If the love is authentic then just let it fall into place.
8. Different Between Lust and Love
Something important to notice is the difference between lust and love. Sometimes people mistake lust for love and it can make feelings complicated. You can be worried if you think you’re falling in love too fast if you’re scared it’s just lust. Lust is just a huge amount of sexual attraction to someone that could sometimes be mistaken for love. At the start of a relationship, it can be mistaken for love when the lust is so strong. What you need to look for is when the lust is gone and you’re there doing nothing and just being present with your significant other then it could be love.
9. They Take Over Your Thoughts
If you’re away from your significant other and they consume all of your thoughts then you might be in love. There is nothing wrong with them taking over your mind because it just means you’re in love. It’s completely okay to fall in love quickly especially when they take over your thoughts. When you think you’re falling in love too fast just think about who’s always on your mind and taking over your thoughts.
10. They Make You Happy
The ultimate thing that you need to focus on when you’re wondering if you’re falling in love too fast is that this person makes you happy. No matter what anyone says or what you read online or what you think defines falling in love, if this person makes you happy then it shouldn’t matter. Your happiness should matter above everything and if this significant other makes you super happy then that’s all you should be concerned about. So when you’re worried that you’re falling in love too quickly just think about how happy this person makes you and make your decision based off of that.
