15 Rain Boots You’ll Need In Your Closet
Being from Las Vegas, a place that barely gets any rain, I haven’t really had the need to buy rain gear. However, I plan to move to New York after I graduate; a place where raincoats and rain boots are an absolute must-have! Of course, you want to have trendy rain boots though so here are some super stylish rain boots that will make you not dread wearing them but instead look forward to the rain!
1. Hunter Play Short Nebula Wellies
These silver, iridescent rain boots will have you shining in the rain this winter season. If you’re not a fan of tall rain boots, opt for the shorter style. I also like these ones because they are platform, which works for us short people because we need a bit of a height boost! They are only $100 from Free People which is a great steal. They also come in black if you want to go with a more basic look.
2. Jeffrey Campbell Cloudy Waterproof Chelsea Rain Boot
Made with faux leather and a lifted platform, these shoes will make you not even feel like you are wearing rain boots. In fact, these look like Chelsea boots I would wear on an everyday basis! Pair these with a cute pair of jeans, your favorite chunky sweater, and rain jacket and you’ll be looking as stylish as ever. You can buy these for just $65 at Nordstroms!
3. Hunter Original Tour Packable Rain Boots
The classic, tall Hunter Boots are popular and fashionable. Many celebrities have been seen wearing these rain boots before. One cool thing about these shoes are that they are foldable so you can store them in your purse or travel bag easily. Hunter boots are lightweight but still are good protection from the rain. You can buy the beloved Hunter boots from Bloomingdales for $150.
4. Kaden Rubber Double Gore Rain Boots-Universal Thread
Another low cut rain boot to add to your collection! These stylish boots will keep your feet warm whether it’s just a light drizzle outside or a heavy downpour. They come in black, green, and grey, but they all would look good with any rainy day outfit! You can buy these from Target for just $34.99! So if you are looking for a cheap, durable rain boot, these are the way to go.
5. DKSUKO Women’s Rain Boots Waterproof High Tops
Do you hate wearing boots and would rather just slip on a pair of sneakers? These are the perfect rain boots for you then because they don’t even look like boots! They look like Converse except they are rubber and waterproof. For only $23.99 you can buy them off of Amazon in about 12 different color options!
6. Circus by Sam Edelman Chesney
Similar to the Jeffrey Campbell Chelsea boots, these look like regular boots to wear! The white color gives it a more edgy vibe which I’m totally digging. No need to stress about not looking cool in rainboots anymore with these waterproof Chelsea style boots! Buy them for $70 in white or black from Zappos.
7. Coach Rivington Waterproof Chelsea Rain Boot
Who said designer rain boots weren’t a thing? Featuring the iconic Coach logo, these rain boots have both knit and rubber to keep your feet protected from the wet weather. They actually are cushioned rain boots so your feet will love you even more! Get these for $85 in either brown or green from Nordstroms!
8. Hunter Refined High Gloss Quilted Short Waterproof Rain Boot
Rain boots don’t all have to be the same texture! These Hunter boots have a quilted texture for a bit of a different style. They are slim-fitting and medium length so feel free to wear with any cute outfit of your choice! You can buy these boots from Nordstroms for $175. Hunter boots are more expensive but they are great quality and will last you a long time.
9. Cougar Kensington Chelsea Rain Boot
Stand out with these leopard print rain boots! These Chelsea boots are styled similar to Doc Martens and are easy to slip on and off. They come in 4 different color options (some with patterns) and also aren’t too pricey. Buy these from Nordstroms for $69.95.
10. UGG Sienna Rain Boot
Normally when people think of UGG’s they think of the soft, fluffy boots that everyone wore in 2012. However, UGG now has their own rain boots with the same comfort as the OG models. They are waterproof with a sheepskin-line insole! You can buy them in 8 different colors from Amazon starting from $58.74!
11. Goop x Sperry Saltwater Tall Lace-Up Leather Duck Boot
In navy blue with a red stripe, these nautical themed Sperry’s will be sure to keep you looking fashionable yet cozy! They make look preppy, but they are made to withstand all kinds of weather environments. Purchase these awesome boots on Goop for $180.
12. Crocs Jaunt Shorty Boot
Although I’m not a huge fan of the regular styled Crocs, these rain boots aren’t bad at all! In fact, they are really cute and stylish. They come in 4 different colors and have raving Amazon reviews! Buy them on Amazon starting from only $21.82!
13. Everlane The Rain Boot
Everlane wanted to make the “most comfortable rain boot” that was easy to get on and off. Wear with a pair of your favorite fuzzy socks and you’ll be ready to brave the outdoors! Buy these from Everlane for only $45!
