Coming up with good questions to ask a date can be difficult. We’ve put together a list of questions to ask before you start dating that are sure to help you get to really know a person!

1. What is your biggest goal in life right now?

This may seem a little serious but if your goals are not the same then you can end it right there. Who really wants to be dating a “professional” gamer right?

2. Are you a cover hog?

If you are ever going to engage in a working relationship you MUST know if he steals the covers late at night.

3. Are you over your last relationship?

You don’t want to be 6 months in to find out that you are the rebound chick.

4. Do you have a good relationship with your family?

Now do not get alarmed if they don’t but a lot of times this helps to see if your values match up. Also, this opens it up to see if he still lives at home or not.

5. Cats or dogs?

If you think this is a dumb question then you should stop reading because dog people and cat people are completely different. This says so much about a person without having to ask much.

6. What is your dream vacation?

Are they into hiking the Rocky Mountains or sunbathing in the Bahamas?

7. What are your political views if you even have any?

If you are not into politics then do you really want to date the guy who constantly expresses his opinion all over Facebook. Hard pass.

You would be surprised at how many people break up over the little things. Do not let your nail biting or teeth grinding be the end of something. Find out before it even starts.

This is where you decide if it is going to be ever lasting love or kicking them to curb ASAP.
