Proof You Can Wear White After Labor Day

We’ve all heard that annoying old-school rule about not wearing white after Labor Day. Many believe this was established in the early 1900’s when white was commonly worn during the summer; especially for weddings and at resorts. But, as the saying goes – “rules were meant to be broken.” Take fashion icon Coco Chanel – she famously wore white year round, and I don’t think anyone’s complaining. Even though some still may see wearing white after Labor Day as a fashion “no-no,” here are 5 chic outfits that prove you can wear white Labor Day and each day after!

1. Winter White

This outfit is perfect for when you still want to look chic in the chilly weather. A thick, knitted turtleneck and white skinny jeans will be sure to keep you warm in the brisk wind, while giving off a trendy, snow queen vibe.
