Products You Need For Your Desk This Season
We know the pandemic has gotten most, if not all of us down. Whether you’ve been laid off, lost a loved one, been sick yourself, or something else has happened as a result, we’re here in hopes to make things a little bit brighter.
Because it’s 2020 and our new normal is digital learning and working from home (for most of us), we have created a list to make your new everyday space as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Below you can find a list of desk necessities and office supplies that you need in your life.
1. Decor
Nothing makes a space homier than personalized decor. When the tough gets going and you have to work from home or take classes at your desk for hours on end, you can have cute little reminders around you to make it bearable. Prop some picture frames up in your line of sight. Fill them with the people or animals you love the most. Throw a faux flower arrangement on the corner, or maybe just a faux succulent. If you’re really ambitious, opt for a living plant. This can give you something to look forward to every day that doesn’t make you relate your desk with stress and work. Maybe your desk is also your vanity. Fill it with pretty perfume bottles, hair oil, and skincare products. Make it all about self-care and create your own little relaxation station. The possibilities are endless, you don’t have to categorize office supplies as just technology, paper, and writing utensils anymore
2. Monitor
To make things a little more exciting, invest in a monitor that’s bigger than your regular old computer screen. With all of the work you might be doing on your laptop, this is an easy way to keep things organized. You can also put a television show on one and do your work on the other.

3.Keyboard
Don’t waste your time typing on a boring old keyboard. Invest in something that will get you excited about clicking your fingers over and over again. There are so many quality options out there. 5. Aesthetically Pleasing Water Bottle
There are few things that are more important than staying hydrated. Especially when you’re hard at work, water is necessary to keep you going and at the top of your game. Ever been in class or at the office feeling parched with no quick solution? If you spend the money on a cute water bottle, you’ll never have this problem again. Plus, it helps save the environment. 6. Back Pillow
If you’re spending all of that time sitting at your chair, you need to make sure your back is up to the task. Not all of us have perfect posture, it’s actually pretty hard to achieve. Instead of investing in a device that will buzz you when your shoulders slip, just throw a pillow back there to prop you up and keep you comfortable. This back pillow won’t just benefit your spin, but your neck will thank you for it too.
7. Swivel Chair
When working hard at your desk, you need to make sure that you can access your things and get in and out of your space easily. That’s why we suggest buying a swivel chair. 8. Incense/Diffusor/Candle
To keep you in a calm and relaxed mood, surround yourself with your favorite scents. Create a cocktail of oils that will make you feel motivated and energized. If your space smells good, you’ll want to spend more time there. You always want to associate your area with a refreshing and uplifting scent. 9. Organizer
With all of the extra stuff that’s probably pilling up at your desk, it would be wise to spend the money on an organizer. It keeps everything in its place where it is all easy to find. You can forget about having to search for your favorite office supplies because it will be right at your fingertips.
10. Lamp
You can’t do all of your work without a properly lit area. It’s important to be organized and it’s important to see everything in your surroundings. Yes, we know, it can be comforting to work in the dark with just your screen on. Trust us when we say, it will only make you tired. You want to associate your workspace with productivity. You don’t want to relate it to slumber. To get your brain juices flowing, find a light that’s perfect for your space. Target has some of our favorite options.
