10 Popular 90’s Toys That Will Give You Major Nostalgia Vibes
If you don’t know by now: nostalgia is in. Whether it’s remakes of your favorite movies and TV shows or excessive denim, millennials really are thriving in this era. But what about the toys from the 90s? Here are 10 popular 90’s toys we’ll all remember.
10. Polly Pockets
Pocket-sized toys were all the rage in the 90s and Polly Pocket was the queen of this movement. While a lot of the toys didn’t actually fit in your pocket, the idea of having your dolls live in tiny homes was insanely fun.
9. Skip-Its
These things could do some damage if you weren’t jumping correctly, but boy oh boy were they fun. And you essentially got to jump rope both inside and outside!
8. Street Sharks
Honestly, there weren’t even any real reasons to own these, other than that they were awesome! There were so many you could collect and if they were still big today, they would be like Skylanders or Disney Infinity.
7. Bop It
You can’t convince me otherwise that these things improved our memories. These things provided endless hours of fun. Bop it! Twist it! Pull it!
6. Don’t Wake Daddy
This game provided some severe anxiety for those of us who dared to wake up our board game fathers. But having to press the alarm clock was just as terrifying as it was fun.
5. Mr. Frosty Ice Maker
This bad boy basically made you feel like you owned your own ice cream shop. It even came with that adorable yet pretty useless penguin!
4. PlayStation
The original PlayStation is one of the best video game consoles and that is a fact. Final Fantasy, Crash Team Racing, Monsters, Inc. and Super Mario Bros were just some of the many favorites.
3. Furby
These were definitely creepy, yet insanely adorable. And we totally thought we could teach them to do things. I’m still not entirely convinced we can’t!
2. Tamagotchi
I’m telling you, everyone had these. On top of taking care of your Tamagotchi, there were little mini-games you could play that could keep anyone occupied all day!
1.Beanie Babies
Beanie Babies were and still are, the cutest things ever. Seriously, if you still have your collection, never give it up. Everybody was on the hunt for various Beanie Babies to add to their collections, all fueling the “Beanie Mania” madness.
