Planning a vacation somewhere tropical? Look no further; the Caribbean is the best for all inclusive getaways, beautiful beaches, exciting adventures, and lots of fun! Whether you are traveling with family or with your friends, there are a lot of places in the Caribbean you should check out! Here are the top 5 islands you need to see!

1. Jamaica

Jamaican me crazy mon! If you are looking for a fun adventure-like location full of friendly people, beautiful beaches, lush mountains and rain forests, and reggae music, Jamaica is for you! Check out Jamaica’s all inclusive resorts in the Montego Bay area that have beautiful British-colonial architecture and lots of places to snorkel! Home to the famous Bob Marley, you are guaranteed nights full of reggae music and dancing! Careful when attempting to drive though! They do it the British way! Be sure to also see these attractions: Dunn’s River Falls, Kingston Capital, Rose Hall Great House, Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios, and the Bob Marley Museum!

2. Dominican Republic

If you are looking for some of the most beautiful resorts, the Dominican Republic is the perfect spot! It is also known as the island of Hispaniola with is combined with Haiti. Also known for beautiful, white sandy beaches, the Punta Cana area holds most of the popular all inclusive resorts. It is mostly a Spanish speaking country so get ready to bailar all night at clubs and at the beach parties! 3. St. Lucia

One of the most luxurious islands in the Caribbean, St. Lucia is home to gorgeous mountains and scenery, volcanic beaches, reef diving sites, fishing villages, and of course boujee resorts! There are also a lot of rain forest hiking trails you can go on that lead to beautiful waterfalls and gardens! Make sure to check out the capital city of Castries and Marigot Bay as well; they are some of the best tourism sites!

4. Virgin Islands

The Virgin Islands are split into the US side and British side; both of which you should definitely check out on vacation! The British islands are part of the volcanic territory that is made up of foru main islands. The main and largest one, Tortola contains the capital of Road Town as well as the rain forest Sage Mountain National Park. The beaches are absolutely stunning; some of the best areas include The Baths, Peter Island, Jost Van Dyke, and Virgin Gorda. The US side is very well known for white sand beaches, reefs, and more of the touristy resorts. St. Thomas island is home to the capital of Charlotte Amalie and the other islands such as St. John, and St. Croix have national parks, and the historic towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted.

Welcome to the British Commonwealth nation of Barbados! Full of gorgeous bays and caves, it is one of the most beautiful places to travel to! The capital city of Bridgetown is a cruise ship port with lots of stunning colonial buildings. The rest of the island contains endless gardens, beaches, cave formations, and 17th century plantation houses like St. Nicholas Abbey. Be sure to include your afternoon tea when visiting! It is definitely a British style island the English as the official language but other languages like Creole are largely spoken here as well.
