Beaches or pools, wherever you are. In Miami, every hot spot always has somewhere to cool off to after being in the sun. Whether you are in Cutler Bay or in North Miami, you can always find a place for you to have a nice swim in this weather. Here are ten places to go swimming this summer in Miami!
In Crandon Park just at the beginning of Key Biscayne, you will find a peaceful beach with sugar-like sand to greet you. Crandon Park Beach is my personal favorite because of the location, since Key Biscayne has the nicest and calmest beaches in all of Miami.
Matheson Hammock Park Beach is a man-made beach at the end of the trail in Matheson Hammock Park. It is located on Old Cutler Road in Coral Gables and features a beautiful beach for families to enjoy. You can also check out the park itself nearby which includes a hiking trail.
South Beach is the rowdiest beach in Miami, but if you go just north of it there are peaceful beaches that are way cleaner and more appealing. North Miami Beach is gorgeous in sight and usually goes down Millionaire’s Way, so you will find the nicest places nearby.
Sunny Isles Beach is a lot more north but it is a gorgeous beach that is to die for. The sand is sugar-like and the beach is very wide, so it is usually not too crowded. Basically, it is always sunny in Sunny Isles.
The Fountainebleu Hotel is one of the most well-known resorts in Miami, and their pools are amazing too. They have multiple pools and a hot tub featured in the resort and it is always completely clean and sanitary and usually very quiet. There is a nearby bar and many events going on, so you can decide whether to join the party or have some time to yourself.
The Venetian Pool in Coral Gables is an amazing swimming spot and was historically opened up in 1924. Many celebrities have gone there and the pool is known for its Mediterranean-like features. The gorgeous public swimming pool is a definite tourist spot for any family.
Delray Beach is a wonderful resort destination and has a gorgeous beach north of Miami. It is known for hosting many festivals, such as the Delray Affair and the Delray Beach Garlic Fest. This location is an amazing family-friendly beach to have fun at.
Bal Harbour is more north of North Miami Beach and it features a lot more privacy and peace in its beaches. The gorgeous area includes many diverse shopping locations and has a nice and quaint architecture surrounding it.
Hollywood Beach gives exactly what a beach should give: a good time. Though it may be quiet and you can have some fun times in a soothing environment, Hollywood Beach also has unique shopping areas along Hollywood’s Broadwalk and see a play at the Hollywood Beach Theatre. There are many events in the area so you could stay in touch with this promenade location.
Lummus Park Beach is one of the most popular tourist spots in Miami and is located in South Beach. It is part of the Deco District and is within walking distance of Ocean Drive’s shopping areas. You can not only enjoy the beach itself, but you can enjoy the city life here too.
