If that is the look you are going for, this pose is definitely for you! My personal favorite from the candid collection of Instagram poses is the classic look over the shoulder. This gives some volume to your hair and adds a lot of motion to the photo. It also shows off your figure more than a photo from the back or front-facing would. This classic pose is so adorable and is also a good option to attempt.

Oh, the art of the smize, smiling with your eyes. This is one of the more complicated Instagram poses is you are a bit of a goofball like myself, as keeping a straight face and it looking good can be a challenge. The eyes are the main focus of the photo below, they really draw you in and give a confident, gorgeous look to the photograph. This pose is all about bringing in the person looking at the photo. The eyes give off a sort of smiling effect, while the mouth is partially open which helps to make the face look elegant and not harsh. The photo below is a great option for this kind of photo as it shows how comfortable the friends are with each other and is also a super casual pose. If you and your friend naturally are very affectionate, then this photo will be easy to recreate for you, however, getting into this pose is super easy as well. It is simply one friend sitting against a wall and the other laying across their lap. It is honestly as simple as that! Once you are in the pose, your chemistry with your best friend will shine through, giving the photo a happy glow.
9. Hobby Hype
Odds are you have a hobby that you enjoy, such as reading, writing, taking photos, watching movies, the options are endless really. Whatever your hobby is, incorporating it into an Instagram photo is a wonderful way to share more about yourself with your followers and gives the photo more of your personality. For instance, the photo below includes a journal and some Polaroid pictures. Therefore, we can assume that the girl in the photo enjoys taking photos. She simply has the photos scattered on the floor, which creates an artsy backdrop for her. You can take this approach if you want to make an understated nod at your hobby, or if you want to showcase your hobby more you can have the object in your hands or more in the center of the photo. For example, if reading is your hobby, you could hold a book in front of your face for a photo or take a photo in a library!
