5 Pairs Of Booties You Need To Own
You know when you’re walking through Nordstrom, the mall, or even shopping online and suddenly you want every pair of booties known to man? I can relate. Boots are so cute, will always be trendy, and compliment almost any outfit well. Unfortunately, it’s unrealistic to have every pair of boots you lay eyes on–even if you’re Kylie Jenner.
So many boots, so little time (and money). Although boots are super cute, you really do only need a few pairs to wear that you can mix and match clothes with. All boots are not super practical, and you might only end up wearing them once or twice. They also can sometimes be an investment, especially if you want them to last or go with a lot of looks. With that being said, here are 5 pairs of booties you need to have in your closet that you are guaranteed to get a ton of use out of.
1. Black platform boots
These are number one for a reason, and I’m about to tell you why. I’m not kidding when I say I wear these booties all the time. Literally all the time. They are casual enough to wear to class, dressy enough to go to a bar in, and everything in between. I always find the best shoes at ASOS, and I swear if they ever stop making a version of these I’ll be devasted. For starters, they’re black so they go with anything. They also are SO comfortable for how cute they are. It’s seriously unreal. They also are great because if they get dirty, you can just wipe them down with warm water and a towel. They last forever too–a must!

2. White boots
I was not a huge fan of the whole white boots trend at first, because I never knew what I would wear them with and I thought they looked too country. However when I got a pair for Christmas and tried them on I fell in love. While these look great with jeans and cute top (although it can be harder to style), these are winners with ripped jean shorts and a cute jacket. They have a big Vegas vibe to them, and while they can be on the higher side for heels, they are still comfortable.

3. Taupe colored suede
I also love a good nude bootie, and a suede is perfect. There are many variations of boots like these, so any will do. Sometimes suede can be expensive, but it’s definitely worth it. Just like black, they go with anything since they’re a neutral. I wouldn’t recommend wearing these to a gross bar, because they could get dirty really easily (and might not be so eaay to clean). While you still want to get use out of them, just be careful where you wear them.

4. Hunter ankle boots
Another must for ankle booties! The hunter ankle boots are obviously for more of a casual outfit, but there’s nothing worse than waking up and seeing that its raining and you still want to look somewhat cute, but not ruin your other boots. These are perfect with jeans, leggings, and most anything in between. They’re also not as heavy as the short or tall hunter boots, which can kind of drag!

5. Fun pair of your choice (choose wisely)
Of course, you have to leave room for a fun pair of boots. My pick right now is a snakeskin bootie, and they look cute with black or white clothing. The only problem with picking a “fun” pair of boots is they may not be in style forever. But again, that’s why they’re called the fun pair, and your style just wouldn’t be the same without them.
