Our Favorite Looks Straight Off The Runway

I’m not going to lie to you, fashion is not my strongest topic, nor do I know much about it. Growing up, I wore athletic clothes 95% of the time and that’s because I was a three sport athlete all year long for about 13 years and it was just easier for me to throw on some of my favorite Nike sweatpants, sweatshirt and sneakers and call it a day. I’ve never like dressing up either. I wear one or two (maybe three) dresses a year and I’ve only worn heels about three times in my life. I also don’t shop for clothes because I’m not afraid of wearing the same pieces over and over. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably money savvy like me and don’t like to spend money expensive items. But I get it. Fashion is known all around the world to be something that brings out our personality and cultures. Fashion shows alone are created to help bring the public interest in new designs and styles. This alone helps the economy because it coordinates sales and produces goods. It’s truly amazing how fashion goes around full circle in many things that we do on a daily basis.

If you are a fashionista who loves the runway and all things fashion, I have here some of our favorite Runway Looks straight off the runway… and maybe into your closest sometime soon.

If your trying to keep up with the latest fashion news, here some of the top fashion designers of 2022.

Florals are in

One of the biggest fashion trends this summer is florals. It’s a staple for any women in their closet. You’ve seen them all over the runway and now you’re seeing them off of it. They’re on more classical prints, modern designs and fashion designers are loving it because of its new and upcoming popularity.

Even the actual runways are decorated with tons of flowers, while models like Gigi Hadid are loving the Flower movement that is trending.

Color clashing is making its name

More than ever before are you seeing a world of clashing colors. Fashionistas are mixing pink with yellow, green with black, blue and orange, purple and red… etc. If it was on the runway in 2022, then off it comes and into your closet to worn all of the time. Color clashing alone is a great way to make a fashion statement and show colors that you love to wear and look great in. Put colors you used to think wouldn’t look good together and mix and match away. We live in 2022, Darling. Anything is possible and almost anything (to its limits) will look fashionably stylish. Below is one of the hottest off the Runway Looks. Bright Yellow with Green. Who would have thought that these two colors would great together?

Wide leg pants galore

If you’ve been watching the runway fashion shows or even reruns of it, then you’re fully aware that wide leg pants are in more than ever before. Forget the days of American Eagle boot leg jeans, these are in and all over the runway. What I love about this fashion trend coming off the runway is that it’s affordable and you can get them almost anywhere. If you want a longer lasting item, then spend the money as long as you’re going to wear them. Check out these wide leg pants from my favorite online store, Lulus. Price: $48.00.

Hoodies under blazers

You’ve most likely seen basketball players wear them while they’re on their way into the locker room and now there at the runway and come off of it into everyday wear. From Gigi and Bella Hadid, to Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner, they are absolutely rocking this style trend. Let’s face it, hoodies have always been popular especially in the athlete world or if you’re just an average person who enjoys being comfortable in an oversized hoodie. But have you ever truly thought about making a fashion statement by wearing it under a blazer or nice jacket? If you haven’t, do it now as it’s one of the hottest Runway Looks for this year.

Go goth

I remember the days of shopping at Hot Topic for stylish goth clothes. Although this style disappeared for quite some time, it’s back. Who cares that Halloween isn’t around the corner (although it creeps up fast), why not wear hot goth clothes now? Wear the jet black dress with sneakers or your favorite band on a t-shirt with jeans and some cute kicks- you’ll be one of the most stylish people walking down those city streets. Look at Christine Quinn (Selling Sunset Reality T.V Show) in a black wedding gown designed by Galia Lahav. Do you think out of all of the Runway Looks, this one is going to stay for the rest of the year?

Bucket hats have arrived

I got my first bucket hat when I was in a program called AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) and since then have bought many more because I just can’t get enough. Since then, I have slowly seen them make their way on the runway and into everyday wear, which I honestly thought would never happen. But bucket hats have come a long way. They’re more stylish, they’re coming in different shapes and colors but at the same time are the same old bucket hat that has been around since the early 90’s when it first became a style trend. If you’re opting for a more casual day look, then make sure to wear some pops of color with your outfit, whether that is a pair of pants or bright top, and then match it with a fun bucket hat. Check out some of the ones below.
