Our Favorite Looks For Spring 2020 Straight Off The Runway

Popular trends emerged from Fashion Week for what will be big in terms of looks for Spring regarding clothing items, shoes, accessories, hairstyles, and makeup, to name a few aspects. When I say Fashion Week, I am referring to the Fashion Weeks that take place at all of the Big Four Fashion Capitals of the world, which are Paris, New York, London, and Milan. 

Some of the trends and themes that designers incorporated in their runway looks for spring include decades (such as the 1960s and the 1980s), stripes, denim, bright colors, and crochet, to name a few.  

Now, with that being said, here are 11 of Our Favorite Looks For Spring 2020 Straight Off The Runway:

1. Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2020 Look 21:

In her collection for Fashion Week, French Designer Isabel Marant’s looks for spring brought us right back to the early 2000s. These looks for spring included bright colors and mixes of floral, stripes, and tie-dye prints. Another popular trend that saw a return from The Isabel Marant Fashion Show was booty shorts! Isabel Marant’s looks for spring are definitely ones to browse through if you want daytime and casual outfits that are casual yet chic just like the outfit on display in the photo below. 

2. Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2020 Look 44:

The second look from the Isabel Marant Fashion Show to make this list, this outfit is fantastic to wear during the daytime and is super chic and sexy. As stated earlier, everything from the label’s collection is a throwback to the early 2000s. In terms of looks for spring, this outfit gives off bohemian like vibes and will have one feeling confident and looking sharp while wearing it.

3. Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2020 Look 28:

The Miu Miu Fashion Show featured looks for spring which all played around the juxtaposition of the serious and playful. The collection featured the use of bright colors and several prints such as florals, stripes, and small splashes of color (which, in a way, looked like splatter paint).

From all the looks for spring from The Miu Miu Fashion Show, Look 28 stood out the most. As seen in the photo below, the outfit consists of a striped polo shirt, an orange skirt, laced-up and black knee-high boots, and a belt with a white bow tie. This outfit is accessorized with a small gold purse. Although the skirt is in a bright orange, the shade is not too bright that it comes off as neon orange. Look 28 is the perfect fit for going about one’s day.

4. Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2020 Look 72: 

From The Saint Laurent Show, this look is all black and consists of leather shorts, a cropped pinstripe blazer, and a sheer, ruffled top. It is one of several looks for spring that one can wear during the day and at night.

5. Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2020 Look 14:

Looks for Spring from Vivienne Westwood’s Collection featured heavy metal accessories and bold prints. The outfit on display in the photo below consists of an orange and white checkerboard patterned wrap skirt, a silver and sleeveless metal tunic, and gray suede booties. This outfit, along the rest of the collection’s looks for spring, gives off a great amount of sex appeal. 

6. Rick Owens Spring/Summer 2020 Look 2:

At the Rick Owens Fashion Show, the label’s looks for spring focused on femininity and sculptural mastery. This black dress (see the photo below) was the second look featured out on the runway and is perfect to wear during both the day and at night.

7. Givenchy Spring/Summer 2020 Look 28:

As I stated earlier, bold and bright colors emerged as one of the most popular trends from Fashion Week. Look 28 from The Givenchy Spring/Summer 2020 Show is one way to go for your looks for Spring if you want an outfit that emphasizes both color and structure. This two-piece outfit will have you looking totally hot and sexy while wearing it!

8. Unravel Spring/Summer 2020 Look 11:

In terms of looks for spring that are casual yet look amazing at the same time, be sure to check out the fashion label Unravel. The creative director and founder of the brand is Ben Taverniti and his designs have been worn the likes of celebrities such as Rihanna, Bella and Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner, to name a few.

9. Celine Spring/Summer 2020 Look 61:

All of the looks for Spring featured in The Celine Fashion Show featured clothing items that were both casual and chic. Every single article of clothing was done in  combinations of neutral colors and stylish layers.

The tailored suit in the photo below presents a combination of both masculine and feminine elements. This suit looks best when paired together with a sexy blouse. Also, this look is great for any female to wear to work for a busy day in the office. It’s sexy but not too much!

10. Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2020 Look 90: 

One of the most eye-catching looks for Spring during Fashion Week was the last one from the Balenciaga Show. The finale of the show featured three over-the-top and structured ballgowns that paid homage to the origins of Cristobal Balenciaga’s fashion house. The photo below shows one of the three ballgowns, which was in the color red.

11. Altuzarra Spring/Summer 2020 Look 41:

This shiny red and black stripe dress is done in a halter neck style and gives off vibes from the 1970s. It is sexy but doesn’t show off to much leg and just like the model in the photo below, the dress will have one looking super hot when paired with above-the-knee boots!
