1. Cedar Point

Hands down, this is the best amusement park on Earth. Cedar Point has something for everyone. Crazy roller coasters for the daredevil, an amazing area full of kids activities, daily musical performances and access to a beach! 2. Hocking Hills

If you’re craving some time with nature, look no further. Hocking Hills has a little bit of everything for outdoor fun. You can zip line through the hills, horseback ride in the forest, hike trails, rock climb or just enjoy a relaxing weekend in a cabin. This is one of the best peaceful weekend getaways you can have!

3. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

This is a great way to spend a day in Cleveland. You can see memorabilia from all your favorite rockers from Bob Dylan to AC/DC. If you have a music lover in the family, this is a must! Plus, they have live music all summer from awesome bands!

4. COSI

Located in Columbus, this science museum is typically more of a children’s attraction. But, speaking from experience, it’s just as much fun as an adult. You can travel back in time and see some of the world’s greatest inventions, hang with dinosaurs, tinker with gadgets and even watch rats play basketball. If you’re a science lover, this is the place for you!

5. Put-in-Bay

Here’s another great weekend trip! Put-in-Bay is a small town on an island in Lake Erie. Some of the best things to visit are Perry’s monument, the crystal cave and or just hang out near the water! There’s also a ton of bars and restaurants that will surely make this an unbelievable trip.

6. Mohican River

This is the best way to spend those unbearably hot Ohio days. Go to Mohican River and you can float your way down the river in a canoe, kayak or even a tube! You’ll be cool and carefree as you drift your way down the river with friends.

7. The Ohio Theatre

Without a doubt, this is the most beautiful theatre I’ve ever seen. First of all, it’s humungous. It has stunning ornamental decorations all over the place and you can see you’re favorite shows and musicals there! Make sure to see if any performances are coming soon so you can book your ticket!

8. Columbus Zoo

The Columbus Zoo is one of the best in the nation. They have a wide variety of animals and exhibits that everyone will love. From cute polar bears to the 43-acre heart of Africa. There’s even a water park!

9. World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock

These types of attractions are a staple to Ohio road trips! The cuckoo clock is in Sugarcreek, Ohio and stands 24-feet tall. Sugarcreek is a sight in itself because it’s called “The Little Switzerland of Ohio.” So, you’ll be able to find more than the cuckoo clock on this road trip!

10. World’s Largest Basket

Here’s another huge attraction that is a total classic for Ohio road trips. The Longaberger basket is in Newark, Ohio and is actually the headquarters for the company. Imagine going to work in that every day!
