Voodoo Love is a Cajun/Creole restaurant located on Howard St of the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco. Voodoo Love declares itself as “Creole nouveaux cuisine made with love” and serves authentic dishes from shrimp and grits to fried chicken. As one of the few restaurants of its kind/genre in San Francisco, Voodoo Love is a black-owned business that prizes itself on giving San Franciscan’s a taste of New Orleans. Foghorn Taproom has 15 tap beers that are always changing so you’ll never get bored with their beers. Sunday Gather is a Hawaiian bakery/cafe in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco. Sunday Gather’s mission is to make every customer feel at home and give that authentic Hawaiian style cooking to every meal they serve. Their menu includes classics like Loco Moco and the spam musubi along with their fresh pastries and milk tea to set themselves apart from all the other Hawaiian BBQ spots. 8. Mokuku

Mokuku is a Japanese restaurant located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco. Mokuku offers hot pot service where you cook your own meat. There are three steps: choose your meat, your broth and then your sauce for your meat and veggies. This style of Japanese dining is all the rage right now and Mokuku is the place to do it! When dining at Mokuku you can either sit at the bar/lounge area with bar top hot pot service or dine on the second floor where you will eat Japanese style on the floor with comfortable mats to get the full experience. Mokuku offers an all you can eat menu that is limited at 90 minutes, even an option for all you can eat and drink with a full bar. Customers relayed that eating at Mokuku was a fun experience and a great place to celebrate with friends.
