This is one of many Netflix shows that allow you to channel your inner badass. American Gangster portrays the life of master criminal Frank Lucas and his drug smuggling missions. If the action and adventure were not enough to draw you in, the film stars Denzel Washington.

3. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (January 1st)

This is a classic chick flick that will never get old, Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey star as a writer and ad executive respectively. Another sci fi show that will keep you on the edge of your seat is Travelers. People from the future are sent back in time to the 21st century and have their consciousness implanted into people who are about to die. Once they are in the current time, they must work with their team to change the historical record of catastrophic events that eventually leads to the Earth’s demise in the future.

Even though this Netflix show is a bit older, there is no excuse for why you have not seen it. The Addams Family portray a satirical inversion to the typical American family.
