Everything You Need To Know About The Netflix Series “13 Reasons Why” Season 2
The hit Netflix series 13 Reasons Why will be returning for a second season THIS month. Yes, get your popcorn ready because you know you’ll be binge-watching season 2 when it comes out on May 18th, 2018. If we’re being honest, we’ll probably have it finished by May 19th, maybe the 20th at the very latest. #noshame
Season 2
Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why will consist of, you guessed it, 13 new episodes, taking us even deeper into the inner social workings of the Crestmont school system and the aftermath of Hannah’s suicide. The first trailer teases that no, “Hannah wasn’t the only one.” According to Netflix, season 2 will focus on “the start of the characters’ complicated journeys toward healing and recovery. Liberty High prepares to go on trial, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah’s death concealed. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.”
Oh yea, instead of focusing on the tapes Hannah made in season 1, this time around it’ll be photos. Specifically polaroid photos. This sounds very scandalous.
Returning characters
As for who will be back for season 2? We can tell you that you’ll see familiar faces such as Clay, Zach, Tony, Olivia, Justin, Jessica, Bryce, Alex, Courtney, and yes even Hannah (though in the form of flashbacks and maybe a ghost?) There will also be at least 11 new faces introduced to us over the course of the second season.
