13 Neon Eyeliners To Try For Every Eye Color

Neon eyeliner is such a fun and unique way to spice up your makeup. It can look a little intimidating because of how vibrant the neon eyeliner is. Don’t worry because anyone can pull off neon colors you just have to find the ones that best suit your eye color. These are 13 neon eyeliner looks that will best suit your specific eye colors.

Brown Eyes:

1. Bright Red

Bright red is the perfect color to really bring out the earth tones of brown. With bright red neon eyeliner, it is the perfect color to brighten your big brown eyes. Neon eyeliner can be a little intimidating so I think that red is the perfect color to try out first because it’s a nice color that a lot of people are using as eyeliner. You can keep it simple by just doing bright red eyeliner over your black eyeliner. It’s going to make the wings look sharp and really make the red pop over the black.

2. Neon Yellow

Another earth tone that is perfect for brown eyes is neon yellow. For this what you do is draw the eyeliner on normally than drag the tip of the wing over your eyelid to create and open lid effect. If you’re worried about the neon yellow eyeliner not popping on your skin tone put down a white eyeliner as a base then trace the yellow overtop. The white underneath is going to make the yellow pop more no matter your skin tone.

3. Neon Green

The last color that is best suited for brown eyes is neon green. When you think of neon eyeliner the first color that you might associate with it is neon green. It’s one of the perfect colors that will make brown eyes sparkle. It compliments brown eyes so well because it is also an earth tone. For this look, you will do something similar to the neon yellow look. Draw your eyeliner normally then drag the wing over your eyelid again but this time draw a dot in the inner corner of your eye.

Blue Eyes:

4. Pink and Red

Since blue eyes are so unique they require a special combination. Neon pink and red is going to frame the blue in your eyes. Since they are so contrasting the blue will definitely pop against the red and pink. To get a beautiful effect start your eyeliner at the inner corner with red then halfway through the switch to your neon pink eyeliner and finish the rest of the wing. This is going to give you a beautiful ombre look that is going to make your blue eyes shine.

5. Turquoise

You would think that turquoise against blue won’t show up but if you do it correctly it’s a beautiful combination. Neon turquoise is going to glow next to your blue eyes. My best tip to really make the turquoise pop is by using the eyeliner in your waterline. Also, keep your eyelid simple but making it white so that the neon turquoise undereye liner can really shine.

Green Eyes:

6. Electric Orange

For my green-eyed girls, electric orange is going to give you those spooky fall vibes you’ve been wanting. Green and orange are a classic color pairing that never fails and using electric orange neon eyeliner are so pretty because the title of the color says it’s truly electrifying. For this look all you have to do it draw a line over your eye crease with a point at the end. This will frame out your eyes and really show the green in your iris.

7. Neon Pink

This look is really fun and one of my personal favorites to use when I want to wear neon eyeliner. Neon pink is going to contrast against the green eyes so it’ll look like it really is almost glowing. Draw your black eyeliner like you normally would with a wing. Then on your undereye draw the neon pink eyeliner on and drag it all the way to match the eyeliner on top. It’s going to give you an exaggerated wing and extend your eye into that sultry cat-eye look.

Grey Eyes:

8. Electric Blue

Since grey is a cool tone the best match for it is another cool-toned neon eyeliner. Electric blue is going to make your eyes look gorgeously icy. Let’s get a little smokey with this look. Cover your eyelid in completely black eyeshadow and blend the edges for that smokey effect. Then draw on your eyeliner like normal but in white eyeliner and drag the wing over your eyelid crease. Over the white eyeliner draw on the electric blue. Since the base is black it’s going to be difficult for the blue to show up on its own. That’s why you need to use the white so the blue can really show off.

9. Bright Purple

This look is the most basic one to do all you have to do is draw the bright purple eyeliner like you normally would with a wing. Purple is a symbol of royalty to it’s best to keep it simple and elegant. Especially against the cool grey eyes, the neon eyeliner is going to really show against it.

10. Electric Lime

Electric lime can be mistaken for neon yellow but it’s just got more of a green tint to it. Electric lime is again going to look like that classic neon look. A nice way to draw on electric lime is to put on a basic base like white or beige. Draw your black eyeliner like normal and over that trace the electric lime over it and along the wing. It’s sharp and simple for everyday wear.

Black Eyes:

11. Neon Magenta

This look is a beautiful one for black eyes. You’re going to want to draw your liner normally with the neon magenta then drag it into your inner corner. Draw the neon eyeliner in your under-eye too so that the liner goes all around your eye. This frames the black eyes and makes them look solid and stunning against the neon magenta.

12. Electric Cyan and Neon Green

Another beautiful combo to make your black eyes stand out. You want to do the same thing as the neon magenta liner and draw the electric cyan all over your eye. This time in your water line draw on the neon green. This is a more unique one and is great for black eyes. Since black eyes are a cool-toned base almost anything will look great against them.

13. Bright Chartreuse

Bright chartreuse is a little bit of a darker neon yellow, that’s how you will be able to spot the difference. Since it’s not as bright as neon yellow it’s going to give your black eyes a sexier glow. A fun way to show off your bright chartreuse eyeliner is by brushing on a light purple all over your eyelid up to the brow bone then underneath your under eyes. Over this draw on the neon eyeliner just as you would a normal wing. This look is funky and will make your black eye stand out.
