10 Natural Skin Care Products To Try This Summer

It is a glorious feeling to know that Summer is fast approaching. While it’s been warm for awhile in many parts of North America, t’s been a very long winter and minimal spring where I live, so any chance I get to think about Summer being around the corner is one that I’ll take. Below I’ve curated a list of 10 natural skin care products to try this summer. I am very passionate about using natural and cruelty free skincare products not only for ethical and sustainable reasons, but also because it’s cleaner for your skin. And it is so important to take care of our the skin we’re in. I love playing with different makeup products, but first — and always first in my books, is skincare.

1. Province Apothecary Nourishing Face Moisturizer

This natural skincare product was gifted to me by a yoga teacher friend and has quickly become a favourite of mine. Province Apothecary has a whole line of natural skincare, but this nourishing face moisturizer is probably my fave. I’m a sucker for any kind of moisturizer; I love feeling like my skin is supple and bouyant. Infused with Carrot and Rose, this moisturizer is perfect for normal, combination, and mature skin, providing a glow, as well as smoothing out the skin. If you have sensitive skin, not too worry, Province Apothecary also has a balm just for you!

The first tinted moisturizer that made it onto this list of natural skincare products is COOLA’s Rosilliance Organic BB+ Cream with SPF 30. The fact that this product is a lightweight BB cream, covering up those pesky dark spots, and has SPF is a crucial combination, especially during the summer months. If I could offer one piece of advice it is to wear SPF every. single. day. A two-in-one, this product makes putting SPF on everyday a breeze.

Hailing from the UK, I have used Simple skincare eversince it came to my hometown. Simple is infused with all-natural products and ingredients such as Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E. These face wipes in particular are some of my favourite for removing makeup and cleaning my face because when I use them, I don’t feel as if there is a layer of something still on my skin; I can just go to bed after using them without needing to take the extra step and washing my face afterwards. These wipes are gentle and smell nice too, making them a staple in my bathroom cabinet.

7. Odacite B1 + C Serum

I chose to put another serum on this list because this one from Odacite has properties that pertain directly to breakouts and serious pimples. I have struggled with acne for many years and when I find a product that is meant to really tackle those problemed areas of my skin, I really invest. This serum contains three ingredients (black cumin oil, cajeput oil, and vitamin E), each for a specific purpose in the formula. Combining all three together allows for purified and cleansed skin without harshness. You only need a few drops to allow this miracle serum work its magic.
