N26 Has Actually Helped Me To Understand Where My Money Goes Each Month & It’s Life-Changing

Keeping track of my money feels impossible sometimes. All it takes is one weekend out with friends, and then on Monday, I have no idea where all my cash went. I got so grumpy about it a few weekends ago that I decided enough was enough–I needed to keep better track of my money.

I actually stumbled on it, the app is called N26, it’s mobile banking plus all the money tracking things I was looking for. It’s literally been life-changing.

So What Is It?

N26 is the best way I’ve ever kept track of my money. ‘Nuff said. It’s a checking account, you can transfer money, pay your bills and save– all in one app. Pretty much exactly what I needed. It breaks down my bank account so that’s it’s super simple to understand.

I Know Where My Money’s Going, And I Can Set Up Ways To Save

Uber, concerts, drinks, food…these are all of the things that make my world go round. Unfortunately, they add up pretty quickly and leave me with financial whiplash. I’ve started to check my spending statistics in the N26 app, which breaks things down into a simple chart that helps me figure out where I need to spend less. They even have a feature called “Spaces”, which lets you set up mini accounts to help you save for your next trip, concert or whatever. You literally just drag and drop your money into “Spaces” that aren’t part of your regular checking account. Personally, Spaces has made saving for my spring break trip to Cancun much easier.

You Get Amazing Perks And Rewards

When I created my account, I used the code CAMPUSCREWQ and after I made my first transaction of $25, N26 actually gave me that $25 right back to my account. I then added that money into my spring break Spaces savings. They also have cool discounts and cashback options with a bunch of subscriptions, Tidal, Blinkist, and Aaptiv are just a few.

When Questions Come Up You Can Talk To A Real Person

Being put on hold is the worst– no one’s into that. After I started using the app, I had a few questions so I called the N26 support team. They were really quick and got me the answers I needed. They also have an in-app support chat, where you can send in your question and an actual person (not a robot!) responds with-in a few minutes.

I Can Get On Track To Becoming A Boss Babe

If you’re looking to add a cool experience to your resume, N26 has a campus ambassador program where they hire students to host meetups and spread the word about N26 on their campuses. They give Ambassadors some pretty sweet N26 swag, pay you for referring friends (yay for making even more money) and even give you the chance to take a free trip to their HQ in NYC! There’s literally no downside.

As If That Wasn’t Enough, You Can Even Win $5,000

As a student, I’m not making nearly as much money as I want to be. The money I spend on textbooks, tuition, rent and weekends out adds up quickly. N26 seems to actually understand this because they’ve set up a $5,000 giveaway for students. It takes less than a minute to register and the form you need to fill out can be found here. There’s no catch– none.
