10 Must Watch Disney Movies
Disney movies are exceptional and it is something that all kids and even adults should experience at some point in their life. I’m going to tell you what my top 10 movies, I would recommend you to watch:
1. Aladdin
Aladdin is full of magic, singing, and flying carpets. The best part about this movie is the love story between a princess and a merchant that pretended to be a king to get close to the princess and eventually fall in love.
Aladdin promoted a message in order to get what you want you to have to break the rules sometimes and do what is not expected.
2. Peter Pan
What’s the best way to watch a movie that speaks about kids wanting to stay kids forever. You get a taste of everything from kids chilling in a mermaid lagoon, fighting pirates, and avoiding being eaten by alligators.
3. Frozen
Do you want to build a snowman? The classic theme song from the soundtrack of the movie. The movie is highly recommended, kids both young girls and little boys love watching the movie.
Personally, my nephew loves watching this movie because he likes to sing along to the songs.
4. The Lion King
What is does your childhood consist of, if you never was introduced and watched “The Lion King”. In my opinion, you were robbed of enjoying your childhood, this movie is one of the greatest movies of all time.
This movie would have you crying, smiling, singing and rooting for justice to come for Mufasa.
5. Bambi
Now this movie was my least favorite because of how said it was. I wouldn’t recommend this movie for young kids, but it does tell a valuable lesson, that you must be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Bambi is a heart-wrenching movie that you would need some tissues near you,
6. Cinderella
Cinderella is a classic story of girl meets boy, the boy finds the shoe of the mystery girl that he danced with during a magical night that they shared. Cinderella is stuck living in a house with her step-siblings and stepmother and they mistreat her and treat her lesser than.
Cinderella shoes the strength, bravery, and self-love that comes through the challenge that is thrown her way.
7. The Little Mermaid
The little mermaid is a film about an independent woman who’s sick of always telling her father what she can do and what she can’t do. Ariel has encounters with a giant octopus and lives life on her own terms.
8. Mulan
Disney has been all about empowering woman and there’s no badder way than to introduced Mulan who is badass. Mulan is a young woman who gets judged for her gender and eventually with her saving her entire city from an invasion.
9. The Princess and the Frog
The Princess and the Frog feature Disney’s first black princess, it is full of life lessons and teaching moments that showed how to operate in life. Princess and the Frog is an amazing movie that will bring and inspire many young black children to see themselves presented in a different light.
10. The Emperor’s New Groove
Have you ever seen “The Emperor’s New Groove” you don’t just see it one time, you should see it hundreds of times more. Kronk is the man emperor, that turned into a llama and is trying to be taken seriously by those who are under his order.
