Must-Have Products If Your Hair Is Wavy-Curly
Wavy but not quite curly hair is gorgeous… but finding hair products for your hair is difficult. Some days you want to accentuate your curls and enhance them, other days you want to keep them on the down-low and go for a more wavy and softer look. With wavy curly hair myself, I’ve learned the struggle and have experimented with many different products in my 23 years of dealing with my hair. I seriously love my hair and all the different looks I can pull off with this texture, and appreciate all these products you should have if your hair is wavy-curly.
Aloe Vera Gel from Organic Cold Pressed Aloe for Face, Body, and Hair
This wonderful product is great for wavy and curly mixed hair, especially during the colder dry air season. It moisturizes and locks in moisture to prevent it from drying out in the cold dry air, or any air or harsh weather for that matter, and defrizzes your hair. It also smells good and does not clump up or make your hair look oily or like you have not washed it for a couple days. Not only is it great for your hair, but it is good for your face and body! If you have irritated skin, you can soothe it by applying a small amount to the irritated area, and it will also soothe any hot or warm areas, such as bug bites or burns. This is a good product not only for wavy and curly mixed hair but for you in general.

Pureology – Colour Stylist Silk Bodifier Volumizing Mousse
This mousse is great for curly and wavy mixed hair that is on its second or third day of being unwashed. It brings back volume to your hair, although if that is not an issue for you, you can skip over this hair care product, and makes it look like day one hair again! I personally use this and love what it does for my hair. I shower every day but do not wash my hair every day, so after two days (and before getting this mousse) I would always put my hair up, braid it or wear a hat. Now I can always leave my hair down and I love it. This smells good and doesn’t dry my hair out and is a good product that I recommend you use if your hair looks dull and loses volume after a few days of not washing it.

Moroccan oil Curl Defining Cream
This oil is amazing because of how it defines your curls and make them look uniform. My curls do their own thing and are not all in unison, which can be cute, but when they are starting to frizz up and lose most of their natural curl, I look like a hot mess. When one of my friends had this product on her vanity, I asked what it does. She has gorgeous curls and let me know this is one of the products she uses. I used it that night and wow I bought some for myself and love the effects it has had on my hair. My curls are more uniform and defined when I put this in and I feel more put together. Sometimes I do want to go for that messy look, but if I want to look more professional and put together, this is my go-to cream. If you don’t want defined curls, this product is probably not for you though.

On Natural On Curl and Wavy Curl Defining Conditioner & Detangler, Cherry Blossom
This conditioner and detangler combo are great for curly and wavy hair definition! The name of it even addresses curly and wavy hair, which is why I bought it in the first place, and it definitely delivers. I was looking forward to trying it out, but ready to be disappointed. Looking forward to it because it had curl and wavy in the name and the struggle of being in that awkward middle ground of straight, wavy, and curly hair is a weird place, but I always love giving hair care products a shot. After using it for two months, I did notice my hair felt softer, stronger, it wasn’t breaking as much and my curls were much more defined, even when I didn’t use other products. It also smells good which is always a plus in my book.

Batiste Original Dry Shampoo
I think this hair product is a classic. It is a classic for good reason in my opinion, because it works great! They make dry shampoo specifically for curly hair, but before I saw that I had purchased this first, and this works amazingly well. And if it ain’t broke don’t fix it… So I’m not going to try another product that’s technically made for me when this product works well. Anyways I definitely suggest you get this if you use dry shampoo or have never used dry shampoo. My old roommates introduced me to dry shampoo and this was the brand that I became a fan of.

DevaCurl Wave Maker Touchable Texture Whip
This is the only product on this list that I have never personally tried or used. I have heard so many good things about DevaCurl though, and read through many reviews and decided to include it on this list because it makes gorgeous waves, not curls, in your hair. Curls are gorgeous, but sometimes people just want nice wavy, luscious locks. Many, almost all reviews I read were positive and said they would recommend this to anyone who’s looking to make waves in their hair! I am definitely going to try it out because of that and I think you should too.
