This citrus-y cocktail has the perfect kick of tequila to sit back and relax with.

Ingredients

  • 1.25 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 oz. grapefruit juice
  • .25 oz. grenadine
  • Grapefruit slice or maraschino cherry for garnish
  • Salt as needed

Directions:

2. Reposado Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices nectarine
  • 2 cherries
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 3 oz. tequila (reposado)
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 cherry for garnish
  • Nectarine slice for garnish

Directions:

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 20 sprigs fresh mint
  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • Ice
  • 2 oz. white rum
  • 2 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
  • 4 oz. sparkling water
  • Slices of grapefruit for garnish
  • Extra sprigs of mint leaves for garnish

Directions:

Add sugar and water to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook until sugar dissolves, 1-2 minutes. Set aside to cool. Add fresh mint and lime juice to each glass to bring out the flavor of the mint. Top each glass with ice. Pour in rum and grapefruit juice. Stir. Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1 oz. elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz. citron vodka
  • 1 lemon

Directions:

Pour 2 oz. cranberry juice, 1 oz. elderflower liqueur, 1 oz. citron vodka into a cocktail shaker with ice. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup honey
  • ⅓ cup hot water
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. honey syrup
  • 2 oz. gin, preferably Beefeater

Directions:

  • 1.5 oz. Gin Mare
  • Infusion of Lavender tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. Jameson Irish Whiskey
  • ¼ oz. Chartreuse
  • 1 oz. fresh pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz. simple syrup
  • 3 basil leaves
  • ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • Ice

Directions:

8. Hibiscus Cherry Vodka Spritz

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup fresh cherries
  • 1 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1-2 tbsp honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup vodka
  • Sparkling water, for topping

Directions:

Add the cherries to a medium-size pot. Mash cherries up until they are almost pulp-like. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil over high heat. Remove from the heat and add the hibiscus flowers. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain into a pitcher, pressing out any juice from the cherries with a fork. Discard the hibiscus flowers and cherries. 9. Champagne Ginger Beer Punch

Fitting its name-sake, this Mother’s day drink packs a sweet punch with vodka, champagne, and ginger.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. pomegranate juice
  • 12 oz. cranberry juice
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 oz. peach vodka
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) champagne
  • 12 oz. Brooklyn Crafter Ginger Beer Mini, Traditional
  • Mint leaf

Directions:

10. Strawberry Gin Smash

This Smash is a fantastic way to enjoy the best strawberry flavors and sweetness this spring with mom.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups gin
  • 3 cups club soda
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
  • ½ tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 3 fresh strawberries, 2 hulled and sliced and 1 reserved for garnish
  • 3 oz gin
  • Club soda
  • Fresh mint sprig, for garnish

Directions:

Muddle the sugar and limes in a pitcher that holds at least 8 cups. Set aside 6 to 8 small strawberries and make a small slice in their tips. Hull and slice the remaining strawberries and muddle the slices lightly with the sugar and lime juice. Stir in the gin and club soda and pack the pitcher full of ice. Add mint sprigs to garnish. Pour into an ice-filled glass and garnish with a strawberry, slotted onto the edge of the glass. In a tall glass, combine the sugar and a squeeze of juice from the lime wedge. Muddle with the back of a spoon to dissolve the sugar. Add the sliced strawberries and lightly muddle. Fill the glass with ice and add the gin. 11. Thai Spring Mojito

The herbal notes in this mojito complement the lime and rum in this cool Mother’s Day drink.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. white rum, (or vodka if you prefer)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp water

12. Spanish Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles Spanish red wine
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 2 oranges, one juiced and one diced
  • 1 green apple, diced
  • 1 lemon, diced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Optional sweetener: simple syrup or maple syrup
  • Optional bubbles: lemon-lime soda, ginger ale, or sparkling water

Directions:

Add the wine, brandy, orange juice, diced orange, diced apple, diced lemon, and cinnamon stick to a large pitcher. Stir to combine. Taste and add in a few tbsps of sweetener, if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 min or up to 4 hrs. Serve the sangria over ice, topping off each glass with a splash of bubbly soda (or sparkling water) if desired. To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar (or honey) with water. Give the mixture a stir and heat until the sugar (or honey) has dissolved. Margaritas are always delicious and this prickly pear variant gives new fruit flavor to an old favorite.

Ingredients:

  • Coarse pink salt, for rimming glasses
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 3 cups freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3 cups silver tequila
  • 2 cups prickly pear syrup
  • 1 cup orange liqueur, such as triple sec

Directions:

In a small, shallow plate, add the pink salt. Rub the rims of 10 margarita glasses with the lime wedge and then dip the rims into the salt.   • Kosher salt
  • 4 oz. carrot juice
  • 4 oz. vodka

  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 or 2 dashes hot sauce
  • Celery sticks or carrot slivers, for garnish

Directions:

  • Ice
  • 1 ⅓ parts tequila Blanco
  • ⅔ part orange juice

  • 1 wheel lime

Directions:
