1. Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square is one of Philly’s wealthiest neighborhoods, but the park is a must-see. It is within walking distance of Suburban Station. There are also a number of stores nearby. The holiday lights are a wonder to witness.

2. Penn’s Landing

Penn’s Landing is on the Delaware River waterfront. There are a lot of historic warships that are visible and war memorials to see. The Ben Franklin Bridge is also within view and is stunning to see. There are photo ops for many Instagram-worthy photos.

3. Love Park

Love Park is named for the Love statue and is located on Arch Street at the entrance to the Ben Franklin Parkway. The Love statue was created by Robert Indiana and has resided in Love Park almost continuously since 1976. This is probably the most well known of the most Instagrammable spots in Philly.

4. Independence Hall

Independence Hall is located on Chestnut Street between 5th and 6th Streets. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were discussed and signed in this building. There is even a statue of George Washington outside, which is perfect for a selfie.

5. Philadelphia Magic Gardens

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens is an art exhibit located on South Street. It was designed by Isaiah Zagar and spans three city lots. The Gardens contain several mosaics, both indoor and outdoor, and has an outdoor labyrinth. There are a wide variety of items used to create the art.

6. Graffiti Pier

Graffiti Pier is located on East Cumberland Street. It is best to wear comfortable clothing and decent shoes because of the glass and trash, but it is a cool place to explore since it is not a place that tourists often go to.

7. Elfreth’s Alley

Elfreth’s Alley is located in Old City. It dates back to 1702 and is considered to be the oldest residential street in the nation. There are still houses that people live in, but a few of the houses have been turned into a museum about the alley.

8. Dilworth Park

Dilworth Park, which was formerly known as Dilworth Plaza, opened along the west side of City Hall.  From fountains and green landscapes to an ice skating rink around the holidays, this park will fulfill your need for an epic Instagram shot.

9. The Constitution Center

The Constitution Center is home to a variety of great historical artifacts, but one of the most impressive things they have is a collection of life-size bronze figures of our Founding Fathers. They are made to scale, so you can take a selfie with your favorite, from Hamilton to Franklin.

The Rocky Statue is located right near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is fitting since he helped grow the fame of the art museum. You can pose like Rocky and have your photo taken. While you are at it, run those art museum steps in true Rocky spirit!
