As we all know by now, Beyoncé slayed not one, but TWO Coachella performances. While she didn’t drop any new music, Queen B pulled out all the stops with her guest performers, fashion, setlist and of course, dancing. While every single moment was excellent, here are the five most iconic moments from Beyonce’s Coachella performance.
Because she strives for nothing but excellence, Queen B wore custom Balmain looks. Just from these two outfits alone, you know she came to slay. Bey channeled Queen Nefertiti, who was an Egyptian queen. Queen’s support queens!
Bey brought Jay out for an epic performance of “Deja Vu,” a song from her second studio album. The two were joined by pep rally-inspired musicians and dancers. They must be practicing for their upcoming tour!
Sister, sister! Bey’s sister Solange joined her on stage for “Get Me Bodied.” Throw in the epic dance-off, the two definitely showed off not only their talents but their sisterly love! It’s not the first time the two have taken the Coachella stage together, either. Solange brought Beyoncé out for a surprise performance of her song “Losing You” back in 2014.
Queen B was supposed to headline Coachella last year but had to drop out due to her pregnancy. So when she was announced to perform this year, she wanted to have her own “homecoming” and several of her songs were remixed to sound like a marching band you would hear in your high school and college days!
The absolute best part of Bey’s sets was when Destiny’s Child reunited! Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams came out both weekends to kill the stage with Beyoncé. The girl group performed “Lose My Breath” and “Say My Name” together and it was everything!
