Celebrities lead a high profile life, and while most of them are beloved by their millions of fans, there are some that you can’t help but hate. When a celebrity is hated by the public, it’s usually because they did something to provoke that kind of response. The entertainment world is constantly changing and with that being said, these are the seven most hated celebrities right now.
1. Scooter Braun
Scooter Braun discovered Justin Bieber in 2007-2008, so that’s where he first went wrong. Scooter Braun has famously managed artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Carly Rae Jepsen, and many more. In June 2019, Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings acquired Taylor Swift’s old label, The Big Machine Label Group.
After Taylor Swift made the decision to leave Big Machine Records, Scott Borchetta, the founder of The Big Machine Label Group, decided that it was time to sell the label. When Taylor Swift left Big Machine, she was forced to leave all of her masters in the hands of Scott Borchetta, but now that Big Machine is apart of Ithaca, Scooter Braun is a co-owner of Swift’s masters. Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun don’t have the best relationship; Swift considers Braun to be a bully.
2. Tristan Thompson
I give you, the most hated man of 2018 and 2019. Tristan Thompson is a professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tristan Thompson began dating reality star, Khloe Kardashian, in the fall of 2016. It was announced in December 2017 that Khloe Kardashian was pregnant with her first child. Nine months later on April 12th, 2018, Khloe Kardashian gave birth to a daughter, True Thompson.
Just before Kardashian went into labor, it was revealed that Thompson had cheated on Khloe Kardashian, while she was pregnant. For the sake of her family, Khloe Kardashian forgave Tristan for his actions. Nearly a year later, it was reported that Tristan Thompson had cheated a second time on Kardashian, with a family friend, Jordyn Woods. The second scandal officially ended Kardashian and Thompson’s relationship.
3. Justin Bieber
Yep, you guessed it! Justin Bieber is a 25-year old Canadian singer/songwriter. Bieber’s career began in 2009 when he released his debut EP, My World. Justin Bieber has millions watching his every move and while he’s had some great moments, he’s had far too many bad moments in the spotlight.
In 2014, Justin Bieber’s reckless behavior landed him in some legal trouble, to the point where it almost cost him his job, but he luckily he managed to turn things around for himself. Justin Bieber has had an on-again-off-again relationship with model, Hailey Baldwin, but the two eventually worked their relationship out and tied the knot in 2018.
4. Miley Cyrus
If you think you can tame Miley Cyrus, think again. Miley Cyrus’ erratic behavior and revealing style are always landing her attention. When it comes to award shows, Miley Cyrus has no problem making herself comfortable… just re-watch the 2013 VMAs. In 2015, Cyrus released her fifth studio album, ‘Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Pets’, which was available on SoundCloud.
Cyrus’ fifth album was experimental and received mixed reviews. Over the years, Miley Cyrus has been very open about her sexuality; in 2015, she stated that she was gender fluid. In 2018, Miley Cyrus married her longtime beau, Liam Hemsworth.

It’s hard to say who the most hated celebrity is in Hollywood, but Chris Brown certainly comes close. Chris Brown’s career began in 2004 and was quite successful until he began to spiral out of control in 2009. Chris Brown had an on-again and off-again relationship with singer, Rihanna.
In February 2009, Chris Brown was arrested for physically assaulting Rihanna. Chris Brown was sentenced to five years of probation and domestic violence counseling. Over the years, Chis Brown has been arrested for making threats and unwanted advances towards women; his most recent arrest was in January 2019, after being accused of rape.
6. O.J. Simpson
Everyone knows O.J. because he is only one of the most hated celebrities in the world. Time will never heal the hate that people have for this man. O.J. Simpson was a football running back in the NFL. In 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and her boyfriend, Ron Goldman were found murdered near Nicole’s house; O.J. Simpson was a person of interest. Simpson was sent to trial and the jury ultimately decided that O.J. was “not guilty” of committing the murders.
In 2008, O.J. Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison for an armed robbery and kidnapping that took place in Las Vegas. O.J. Simpson was granted parole and was released for prison on October 1st, 2017.
7. Lori Loughlin
A year ago, I would have never put Lori Loughlin on this list, but a lot can change in a year. Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli were involved in the infamous College Admission Scandal. Apparently, Lori really wanted to get her daughters into the University of Southern California, which is why she paid them a bribe of $500,000. I understand that she wanted her children to be successful, but now they’ll never be accepted into any college…
