5 Morning Health Routines To Try Out This Summer

So what is a morning routine? It is nothing but a series of activities that we do before we actually get started for the day. Now the real question is whether our morning routines are healthy enough to keep us going for the day.

Whatever is your morning routine it is very important to start your day on a healthy note as it not only gives a positive start to the hectic day lying ahead but also keeps your mind and body active and reduces stress levels. There are so many articles, books, and blogs about how to start your morning health routines but you have got to find a routine that suits you the best.

So in this article, I have listed 5-morning health routines to try out this summer. They are very simple and basic and can be followed by every person of any gender and age.

1. Have an early start to the day

Always start your day early and by early I don’t mean 4 am or 5 am as it gets bright earlier during summer, anytime between 6am and 7am is absolutely fine. Try going to bed early so you can wake up early and that way you do not have to compromise on your sleep. Set your favorite song as your alarm as that will send good vibes to your body and you will wake up smiling or singing or maybe even dancing.

2. Exercise

Well if you have woken up dancing to the tunes of your alarm clock then that is one of your morning health routines done already, if not then take full advantage of the beautiful weather and go for a lovely jog to your nearby park or in your backyard for that matter. That will also help you take in some Vitamin D and fresh air. Try doing some stretching exercises as well as that will help keep your body flexible and active for the day and remember whatever exercise you choose always listen to your body and follow its rhythm do not overdo it.

3. Have a healthy breakfast

During summer my morning health routine must include having breakfast in the garden, it is just so wonderful to see all the beautiful flowers and hear the birds chirping in the morning. As they say, you should always have your breakfast like a king so I usually have a bowl of oats or bran flakes with seasonal fruits followed by an egg on toast and then my cuppa tea. It is always good to include a high-protein breakfast as that helps to cut out cravings and aids in weight loss. Eggs, Greek yogurt, nuts, and cheese are some of your protein-rich foods.

4. Drink Plenty of water

During summer we tend to get dehydrated a bit too often hence it is very important to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. As per research, mild dehydration tends to impair moods as well as brain function, especially in women. Dehydration also impairs physical activity hence always drink the recommended 8-ounce glasses of water per day.

5. Practice meditation

Make the most out of the hot weather, try meditation in open, quiet space this will help reduce anxiety and stress, help clear thoughts and helps you to relax your mind and body. It also increases awareness of yourself and as well as surroundings.

So here were my Top 5-morning health routines to try out this summer, it works for me and my family give it a try and let me know your feedback. And always remember “Health is Wealth” so do not ignore it and do the best you can and while you can.
